The Steinmuehle Buch I was working on together with Katharina for one year is edited by a renowned Austrian publisher, the Salzburger Residenz Verlag.
Stone Mill
Silence - Peace - ArtAn abandoned farm becomes an international studio for art and culture.
When Peter H. Wahl discovered the Steinmühle in 1979, a new chapter in his life began. Peter H. Wahl's story is inextricably linked to that of the 500-year-old and crumbling square farm. His vision for the future was to create a place of encounter and artistic creation. Together with Katharina Flückiger and friends, he succeeded in building the Steinmühle as a total work of art with various studios and workshops. Richly illustrated, this book tells the story of the Steinmühle, of its conversion and of the careers of the artists Peter H. Wahl and Katharina Flückiger.

... had to give an honorary speech twice at the presentation of the book "Steinmühle: Stille - Frieden - Kunst" (Stone Mill: Silence - Peace - Art) in the Blue Hall of Steinmühle, which was published on the occasion of Peter's 80th birthday. The book has 288 pages (only the paper cost $8,500), Katharina et moi worked a lot on all the various texts.
Ha! you can only see Katharina and Andrea from behind... and, it's all Katharina's instruments, built by Beat Weyeneth, except the cello, which was played by Davide Zavatti.
The blue thick-glass-windows were created by Théo Kerg 1985 when he stayed in Steinmühle for one week. It was such wonderful experience to work with such great artist. Already in Basel he had come up with the name Salle Bleue. But, the photo cannot give an impression of the light-power of these 8 blue windows...
