Back home after four amazing days at the Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo. After three years it was good to meet all the people again, both bands, fans and organizers, many of whom I only see this one time of the year.
With the strong lineup they had for this year there's too many highlights to mention, but a few stood out even more. Triumph of Death playing the old Hellhammer songs was probably the absolute highlight for my part. But also Ved Buens Ende, Mayhem, Kreator, Vreid, Hamferð, Whoredome Rife and Cadaver did memorable shows.
Four days of great concerts, great people, beers, a beautiful sunny spring Oslo and late nights take it's toll on a old metal soul. Tired now. But happy! And very much looking forward to next years festival already!
