for anyone looking my last post: i was somewhat misinformed, and though canonical is still okay_ish_ in my eyes, i am still quite skeptical in their relations with microsoft. currently, i feel fairly neutral towards the whole ordeal, though i dont foresee myself uptalking ubuntu in the future. still might give a friend xubuntu if they dont understand linux well, and inform them of canonical's stuff if they take to it lol. we'll go to debian to devuan from there, hehe.
