Less than half of #England and #Wales #population identify as #Christian, according to the 2021 #Census. The number of Christians has fallen significantly as is now below 50% for the first time, at 46.2% (down from 59.3% in the 2011 census!), while some 37% identify as having no #religion.

The percentage of people identifying as #white has fallen too, to 81.7%, with the largest minority 9.3% identifying as Asian (or Asian British or Asian Welsh).
