Two 10-year-old children were found working at a Louisville McDonald’s restaurant — sometimes until 2 a.m. — the US Department of Labor said Tuesday.
The revelation was part of an investigation into the child labor law violations in the Southeast. The agency also found three franchisees that own more than 60 McDonald’s locations in Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland and Ohio, “employed 305 children to work more than the legally permitted hours and perform tasks prohibited by law for young workers,” the Labor Department said in a statement.
“Investigators from the department’s Wage and Hour Division found two 10-year-old workers at a Louisville McDonald’s restaurant among many violations of federal labor laws committed by three Kentucky McDonald’s franchise operators,” the release said. “Investigators also determined two 10-year-old children were employed – but not paid – and sometimes worked as late as 2 a.m.”

Russian media watchdog Roskomnadzor officially approved on Wednesday an expanded set of criteria for what is to be considered ‘#LGBTQ #propaganda’, which can be grounds to #block access to #websites.
This comes after the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications issued an order to broaden and specify the definitions of #LGBTQ #propaganda and #pedophilia online.
The new set of norms will come into effect on September 1, and will be valid for the next six years, according to the document, which was published on #Russia’s official internet portal of legal information.
Under the order, Roskomnadzor will be authorized to block access to websites that feature content depicting children imitating or taking part in sexual activities, child genitalia in a sexual context, information about obtaining, creating, or sharing #child #pornography, as well as content aimed at #provoking #sexual #attraction towards #children or #justifying #sexual #relations with #minors.

Biden Administration ‘Facilitating’ Trafficking Of Child Refugees, Florida Grand Jury Charges
A Florida grand jury accused the Biden administration of “facilitating” the trafficking of child refugees after a five-month investigation conducted at the request of Governor Ron DeSantis.
The panel issued a scathing report, denounced the Biden administration and, in particular, the Homeland Security Department and Department of Health and Human Service’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). It disputed ORR’s claim that child refugees are being cared for and reunited with their families.
