One of the most beloved Christmas songs all over the world, composed to a French poem by Placide Cappeau (1808–1877) and performed here by one of the greatest tenors that ever lived in his native Swedish language.
To me personally, this particular recording is still unsurpassed… I do hope you like it !

I've never said/shared this before, but...
Here's a Christmas song from my cousin Mark ("Fenny")

Usually he plays hot blues, classic & country rock - but here's some seasonal "schmaltz".
He's singing lead and playing the blues harp/harmonica, 6 & 12-string acoustic guitar, and bells.

I wouldn't believe any of this was him if he didn't say so. I've only heard him getting down like John Mayall, wailing....
