#fedilab
Someone in the #Fedilab crowd has any information what happened to Tom? Or enough insight into the current codebase to *cough* support starting a fork in early 2024...?
@Fedilab Apps How is #Fedilab doing these days? There haven't been real commits in the repo in quite a while and the list of issues is growing. Would be okay to dig through some of them but unsure whether it's worth the time, by now...?
!Friendica Support Is there a way to set visibility of a comment using the web interface? I know / see I can set messages to be "public", "private", "unlisted", ... using Friendica along with a Mastodon client such as #tusky or #fedilab and it even seems to work but in the web there seems no option to change this?
Can I set #Fedilab so it shows the posts and some replies and not just single posts? Just 2 or 3 replies for context or so?
In #Fedilab, is there a setting to see the whole images in the stream of messages, without top and bottom cut off?
#Mastodon problem but also problem with diaspora embedded images name on Android!
Since I can't cross post between #Diaspora and #Mastodon, I save the funny images I find here in my phone, but, I won't see them in the gallery app when I brows the directory.
The file names are too big for the app to handle and the only way I can access the files is using a terminal she'll window to rename them.
Things missing in #fedilab app is ability to chose the directory where the files being saved and naming them before saving.
Still sort of dissatisfied with Mastodon / #Fediverse clients, I just recently discovered #yuito and so far quite like it. Has all the lightweightness of @Tusky but fixes its most annoying issue of having a maximum of 5 timelines set up. (Still looking into #fedilab which I love feature-wise but it still feels by magnitudes slower and more bulky on the same device... 🙁)
#followerpower Anyone out here knows where's the difference between #tusky and #fedilab when it comes to #friendica notifications? Tusky seems to display these more or less regularly. Fedilab, on the other side, requires an additional app for push notifications but displays none at all. That's a bit odd. How does tusky handle this better? #followerpower
