New York City's Guardian Angels tackled a man to the ground they claimed was a migrant who was caught shoplifting during a live TV interview, but later said they have no proof of the claims.

Police would only say the man was allegedly trying to disrupt the broadcast and did not comment on the claims he was a migrant shoplifter.

The encounter happened Tuesday as group founder Curtis Sliwa was doing a live television interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity about migrant crime in New York City. ...

The clearest indicator that Murdoch has been thinking of moving on was a plan, floated last fall, to combine his two companies, which many observers thought was a step to give Lachlan increased control. That deal was scuttled in January after investors — and James Murdoch — complained. In 2019, Murdoch took many of his chips off the table by selling his Hollywood film studio and other assets to Disney for $71 billion.

Murdoch’s future and the future of his empire once he leaves have been the object of media speculation for years, and not just on prestige TV. It seems like a good time for Fox's #shareholders to sue #Fox for the failure of Fox's senior management to uphold their fiduciary responsibilities by dispensing with such a valuable asset with no appreciable rationale.

When a corporation does what Fox has done it often indicates that senior #management &/or major #voting shareholders are more interested in controlling #information than in producing profits & returns on #investments.

Control of information is control of understanding is #control of #perceptions is control of choices is control of societies.

Is Fox News Media jealous of the Daily Show?

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

... It is not immediately clear what spurred on the decision. Personal texts and emails from Carlson were made public as part of the defamation suit brought by Dominion Voting Systems. Those communications included comments that he “passionately” hated Donald Trump, and comments criticizing Fox’s news-wide journalists.

Trump sat for an interview with Carlson earlier this month, his first since being indicted in a New York court.

But Carlson was also cited in a lawsuit from a former Fox producer, Abby Grossberg, who said the work environment was “sexist.” Grossberg worked as a senior producer on Carlson’s show.
