On June 15th #1922 Michael Collins visited his home town of #Clonakilty, #Cork and gave an important pre-election speech. On the same date 100 years later this in #2022
The pilot of the Apollo 11 command module took this photograph capturing every living person except him in 1969.
Collins died April 28, 2021, leaving one surviving crewmember, Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin, Jr., Ph.D. Crewmemer and first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, died August 25, 2012.
