The #essence of the Stotra
The #universe is complete and indestructible, in-exhaustible, and #eternal. With the destruction of something, something else is born, and thus the universe remains everlasting and constant. The universe is Swayambhu, born out of itself. It is the source of everything, it is omnipotent and omnipresent. Everything born out of this universe is complete and perfect.

The completeness of the universe exists in us too. We too are born out of this universe and what exits in the universe exists in us too. It is by this realization, we can achieve the realisation of God, transform ourselves from our mortal presence into Godliness. Every object of the universe and Nature has come from one common source, the #Universal #Consciousness of #God.

The essence of this stotra – Om Purnamadah Purnamidam, is reflected in the various stotras from Hindu Puranas, Vedas, Upanishads and the ultimate decisions of Vedanta. Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma, Ekoham Bahushyam, Aham Brahmasmi. These teachings of our Hindu Shastras – Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas, Vedas, Upanishads, are reflected in the divine words of Dadaji Maharaj. The spiritual teachings and realizations of Dadaji Maharaj, in very simple words, reveal the ultimate knowledge of our Shastras.

Passion and Resolve: The colour signifies the passion necessary for achieving material and spiritual goals. Devotees often seek blessings for prosperity in personal and professional realms, especially regarding relationships.
Bravery and Protection: Wearing red is a symbolic prayer for protection from negative energies, aligning with Katyayani's role in safeguarding the universe.
Expression of Devotion: Adorning oneself or the worship space with red reflects deep devotion (bhakti) towards the goddess, signifying love and commitment.
Rituals Associated with Red
To please Goddess Katyayani on this day, devotees are encouraged to engage in specific rituals:

Offer red hibiscus flowers to the goddess.
Wear red clothing throughout the day.

Offer red vermillion to enhance devotion.
The celebration of Day 6 not only enriches the spiritual atmosphere but also emphasizes the qualities of strength and passion that Goddess Katyayani embodies, making it a significant day in the Navratri festivities.

#MaaKatyayani
Goddess Katyayani is the sixth form of #Durga and is worshipped in Navratri for her embodiment of strength, courage, and the power to overcome obstacles. She was born from the collective energy of gods to defeat the demon Mahishasura and usually has four arms holding a sword and a lotus while seated on a lion. Her fierce nature represents the victory of good over evil, thus making her an important figure in Hindu mythology.

Worship and Significance

The sixth day of Navratri is devoted to Katyayani, who is worshipped with a simple form of rituals by wearing red and doing mantras such as " #Om Katyayani Mahamaye Namaha," among others, and offerings include flowers and food. Her psychopomp is associated with the #Ajna #Chakra, representing intuition and insight. She is believed to purify sins, remove obstacles, and bestow wisdom and harmony upon those devotees who wish for good relationships, especially marriage.

Red (Day 6): This strong colour depicts Goddess Katyayani and gives the impression of power and passion. So, red was decorated profusely on the premises to enhance the devotion during this day.

#Om
Creation occurred due to the first sound #Aum. The universe and everything in it is condensed energy, that energy is vibrating and all has sound. The body itself is sound, called sabda in Sanskrit. The body can be recreated with sound as many modern technologies are now tapping into. In the ancient Puranas (sacred story texts), there are elaborate stories of the creation of the world (shristi karana). Meditating on the seed sounds (bijas) of the chakra petals is also called shristi karana, for it is the recreation of the body through sound (sabda). This is the practice of meditating on the chakras according to the Achyutananda tradition.

(1) First step is to worship the Guru and Paramguru. Those who don’t have one can do the mantra “Aum Vyam Vyasadevaya Namah” [1] 108 times while meditating on the crown, imagining golden radiant light coming into the crown and light sitting on the head. The Guru’s grace rests on the head. (2) Next pranayama can be done.

(3) Meditate on the third eye chakra, bringing the awareness there. (4) If one knows the Agni navakṣari mantra it can be done 21 times (5) followed by the Chaitanya mantra, or just praises to the fire of the third eye fire.

(6) Then one can do their parampara mantra [2] to stabilize the five aspects of the mind and make it peaceful.

(7) When the mind has become stable and peaceful one begins with the throat chakra. It contains 16 petals, each with the vowels of the Sanskrit alphabet. A knowledge of Sanskrit alphabet and its pronunciation is very helpful.
