Made some rice the old Iranian style!
The crunchy rice as my younger one used to call it is called Tah-dig which means "bottom of the pot", and is a special delicacy when cooking in Iran.
Getting the rice out of the pot in perfect form is another art that takes time and patience plus a lot of learning from mistakes (mine is not perfect, since it broke in the middle).
Made it for my daughter before she went to see her old middle school friend on the beach. I'm sure she will be back very late tonight.
