Seymour Hersh has an interesting article.
This is my fear and my belief.
The western empire cannot afford to lose in Ukraine for two reasons one is they need cheap energy and resources from a subjugated Russia and the other is a loss would show the inner weakness of the empire then it's all over.
So the west will not back down no matter the cost and discount the threat of nuclear war because they assume to know everything.
At this stage nato is content to let ukrainians die but should they lose all their men then nato will intervene on the assumption Russia will continue a non nuclear war.
The author seymore refers to gives a good reason to use nuclear weapons in a limited way as an alternative to full nuclear war.
Unfortunately I think limited nuclear strikes will still end in full nuclear war as the western empire would rather take the risk of losing everything in a nuclear war because they will lose every thing if they back down.
