Sure feels like the end-days of #Google +
Fast and furious ending though, on #Twitter.

Employees mostly gone now, sending goodbyes, and sign-offs (like the G+ signal flares but without good options to move to!)
So some are about to be "homeless" (MSNBC just actually mentioned how Mastodon is an option!) I'm seeing creators now asking, "what's happening?" "What's all this buzz about buying checks for $8/month?" "What did Stephen King just say to Musk?"*

I know many are cheering. But nobody forced Twitter on anyone and some people lived there, as they did on Google +, etc.
And IMHO it certainly was a big Town Square with plenty of megaphones and "choice". And #TrumpVirus free of late, to its credit.

Sad. For the promise, for the many who called it home (social & professional/political/showbiz too). And the employees. :(
Flashback to other traumatic endings, themes of "Closing Time", "The End", etc. No more Twitter with verified news & people.

Bye bye
