#DoubleTap attack. Understanding one of Russia’s cruelest tactics in Ukraine

Hitting a building, waiting for first responders and the media to arrive, and hitting the same place again to target those who came to put out the fire, help the victims, or document a potential war crime is a well-honed tool of Russia in its wars.

This ruthless and illegal military tactic is called a "double-tap" attack.

Having used #Syria as a "testing ground" since 2015, Russia started #terrorizing Ukraine with "double-tap" attacks following the full-scale invasion. Those attacks have grown more frequent in recent weeks.

Images from the site of the second bomb in Kerman clearly shows that the design of the bomb was to create as much peeobal damage as possible, using nails, ballbearings and metallic shrapnel .

Majority of the victims of the terror attacks were killed by the second bomb that exploded a few moments after the first one (double tape, as it's called in military terms and by definition is a war crime).

Al Jazeera reporter and a doctor were both killed during a live broadcast when they were bombed by Israeli military

It's really sad and upsetting to see Israel commit war crime by bombing the same location twice (double tap) to maximize human casualties of their attacks.

Remember when Some reporters were shot by snipers in the early days of #Ukraine war and how the moral guardians of the "Civilized world" were all calling it a war crime?

Their silence today is the sad proof that they only care for human lives when the victims are westerners or the crime was comitted by their enemies.

Israel is above the laws. Any laws.

Another video shared on social media claims to show the second bombing of the Christian Baptist Hospital of Gaza targeting emergency workers and ambulances at the site.

I am not sure if the video is from today, but it clearly shows what military calls for "double tap", bombing the same target twice, with minutes in between to target those rushing to help.

AlQaeda, Taliban and ISIS used to detonate 2 bombs like that in the past and Israel was accused of such war crimes in the past but this seems to be one of the few videos that actually shows IDF comitting war crime against emergency workers.
