#All these words have the idea of a pardon. In a sense what Jesus was saying when He said: “Father forgive them” was that he was granting them a pardon.

Virgin Goddess
- The gods Poseidon and Apollo (her brother and nephew respectively) both fell in love with Hestia and vied for her hand in marriage. But Hestia would have neither of them, and went to Zeus instead, and swore a great oath, that she would remain a virgin for all time and never marry. In the Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite, Aphrodite is described as having "no power" over Hestia.

I woke up with a song ~ but there was a dream. I was making Egglant Parmesan.
Oh. Yes. I must get up and continue with my days of Hestia, preparing fresh vegetables and fruit for Winter food storage.
Today is yellow squash, onions, eggplant, mushrooms, celery, carrots and blackberries.
Yesterday I finished with cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, strawberries, green beans and tomatoes.
