During his visit to #Russia, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited an aircraft plant in #Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Together with his delegation, he visited the assembly shop of fifth-generation fighters Su-57 and Sukhoi SuperJet-100 passenger airliners, and also observed a demonstration flight of the Su-35S.
In this context, it is interesting what products from the plant could theoretically be of interest to the DPRK. Its aircraft fleet has long been outdated - the most modern in it are a dozen or two MiG-29s of the first modifications, so the country's Air Force clearly has a demand for updating.
The delivery of the Su-35S, of course, is very difficult to believe, but the dispatch of a flight of Su-27s in storage in this case is a much more realistic scenario. Also, the products of RSK Mig can be transferred to the North Koreans - the MiG-29s put into reserve after a major overhaul.
đź“Ś Naturally, the DPRK will not be able to pay for all these potential purchases in foreign currency due to its unenviable economic situation. However, Pyongyang may well settle the deal by barter: the Russian Armed Forces will now not be in need of ammunition for cannon and rocket artillery, of which the DPRK has quite a few, as well as other specific products.
In the civilian sphere, Russia can unofficially take part in measures to modernize the North Korean energy system, which acts as the “Achilles heel” of the country’s economy. Previously, Moscow did not take this step due to the sanctions regime against the DPRK, but over the course of a year and a half, the situation has changed significantly.
Whether these issues were discussed at the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, time will tell: if some fundamental decisions were made, then the result can be seen soon.

Unconfirmed : North Korea will purchase SU-35 fighter jets in exchange for providing logistics to Russian military.
The news is from a pro-Russian telegram channel and can be just a rumer without any evidence, it was sent in a post covering NK leaders visit to facilities manufacturing SU-3t and SU-57 fighter jets.
Iran has officially said that 16 SU-30 fighter jets were purchased from Russia
The payment seems to be done in food and other items exported to Russia.
These SU-30s will be used mostly for training and reeducation purpose to prepare Iranian pilots for the time when SU-35 fighter jets arrive later this year.
The first batch of Russian SU-35 maybe delivered to Iran by next week.
the last time Iran bought any modern fighter jets was in mid 1970s when Shah's government ordered a large number of F-14 and F16, only a few of those Tomcat F-14s were delivered and all the special designed Iranian F-16s were confiscated by the US government after the groups of fanatic students attacked the US embassy in Tehran starting the long and sad moment in Iran history most people know as "Hostage Crisis"
According to aviation sources, the initial order of 16 SU-35s where changed to 30 and some roumers say Iran will receive some 70 jets.
The pilots of IRGC and Iranian Air Force have been training with Russians for over 1 year and according to unofficial Telegram channel of IRGC, several domestically build air to surface, air to air and air to sea missiles are already being prepared to be attached to the SU-35 and some in the closed Iran-defense group even talking about upgrading the aging electronics used in those planes with the more advanced radar and communication system built by Iranian Defense Research Industry/ies.

The first Russian SU-35s have arrived in #Iran
Israeli sources say that the number of fighter jets being delivered are between 25 and 32 and not 16 as the Iranian sources were saying.
The telegram channel of IRGC says that the Iranian pilots have been training in Russia for over a year and the arrival of the planes in Tehran was celebrated in a welcoming ceremony with many high ranking government and air force officials.
The planes will be adapted to be able to carry domestically produced air to air, air to sea and air to ground smart bombs as well as the "secret" new long distance suicide drones

The planes are the ones ordered by Egypt before the Ukraine war started and were never delivered.
