Hörbuch, gelesen von Christian Brückner

Eigentlich mag ich keine Romane, wo einer nach dem anderen abgeschlachtet wird, außer bei historischen Romanen, da läßt sich das ja nicht vermeiden, wenn AutorIn sich an die Fakten hält.
Bei Kein Land für alte Männer war ich dann anfangs auch versucht abzuschalten, aber es gibt nun mal Kein Leben ohne Blutvergießen und es hat mich dermaßen beeindruckt, daß ich später auch Die Straße gehört habe.

Fastbook: Listen to audiobooks faster. This is a Python program that lets you speed up the "silent" parts of audiobooks, thus shortening audiobooks. You can also speed up the spoken part, but you don't have to. Play the example clips at the bottom where he has the original sound file and the same sound file with the "silent" parts sped up 5x. It shortens the clip from 5:35 to 3:40.

To use it you'll need to convert your audiobooks to wav files (the program can read and write only wav files so you'll need another tool to convert in and out of your favorite audiobook format. In addition to Python you'll also have to install a big list of dependencies.
