Characteristics of Revati Nakshatra in Astrology
The yoni animal of Revati Nakshatra is a #female #elephant.
Like Bharani Nakshatra, these people are also all about protecting and guarding.
A female elephant is the most dangerous next to a female bear.
They will stomp in the ground until there is nothing left of you if you even come ¼ of a mile close to their calf.
Never mess with a Bharani or a Revati mother. Elephants are big, bulky, huge, and when elephants run or stampede, the ground shakes.
Elephants have an excellent memory.
They will never forget what right or wrong you did to them.
They could take revenge on you or hug you 30 years later if you met them by chance.
Elephants are family animals and have partners, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles etc.
When one dies, they all come to the burial ground because elephants actually know to dig the ground to bury their dead family and relatives on rare occasions.
The elephant is an animal with a human heart.
They can consume 50 gallons of water and 200- 600 pounds of food per day. Elephants are slow walkers, walking on toes and are very protective of their young ones, as well as to everyone they know.
Elephants are known for their beautiful tusks, but it also costs them their lives for which they are killed.
Purva Ashada, Uttara Ashada, and Revati people will always have issues with their teeth, especially Revati natives.
Revati natives are extremely protective of their families and children. They lash out at everyone trying to come after them.
They usually take time to do their work, and they do not like to be disturbed or irritated.
If you do anything wrong with Revati/Bharani natives, they will remind you of what you did to them even after 30 years; they can be your best friend and close family member at times but will hint that they still remember what you did to them years back.
Elephants have tusks, which are their teeth. Revati natives will have long teeth and usually some issues with the teeth, which is karma due to what has been happening with elephants in nature for thousands of years as people are hurting them for their tusks.
This translates into Revati people even having a botched job with a dentist at one point in life where they would undergo several procedures to get their teeth corrected.
The symbolism of this Nakshatra is the drum and two fishes, which is also related to the Pisces sign.
The drum symbol is because this Nakshatra’s deity is Pushan, the Lord of wild animals, and Shiva himself is the Lord of wild animals.
Revati is connected with the sound of Shiva in terms of music, which is the Damru.
Revati natives are involved in music, dance or poetry, but there is one thing about Damru, the drum, which was used when major news announcements were made in a village or the arrival of an important individual.
Revati natives will always sound the alarm for cruelty against animals in social media, mainstream media, or personal groups.
They are extremely against any harm done to animals, like Radagast The Brown in Lord of the Rings, who was connected with nature and wildlife.
If one only reads what the Lord of the Rings book had to offer on one of 5 wizards, it can be seen that there is a lot of similarities between him and Revati natives.
The fish represents the duality and confusion within the Revati native.
One side wants to pace towards its goal, while the other wants to learn and remain in the past.
People with planets in this Nakshatra remain confused in life about what aim to take, which path to walk on, what decisions to make.
They do not feel at ease until they connect with nature or fight for nature.
Most spiritualists would have this Nakshatra because spirituality and its awakening is the higher dimension, away from our ordinary world.
Fish is also the oldest creature known to man. They have been here for over 500 million years, which also shows the depth and age of the Revati soul.
When the soul has been through countless cycles of this world, its only interest and path are to find the true nature and its spirit.
The deity of the Revati Nakshatra is Pushan, one of the 12 Adityas and is the protector of flocks, herds, and safe travels.
The Adityas are the guardians of universal laws and codes of conduct.
He also has a special affinity for animals. Pushan is also considered the ruler of the roads. He is the Lord of lost things and lost animals.
The search of any lost items on a Revati Nakshatra day can prove to be successful.
Lord Pushan is also the final ferryman, who ushers the souls into the realm of Yama into the netherworld.
He is also the protector of wayfarers and their belongings, as well as the God of meetings.
In Daksha’s yagna, Pushan was eating the oblation when Rudra arrived.
Rudra is supposed to have knocked Pushan’s teeth, and so the offerings to Pushan are made of soft porridge-like mingled soft curd rice.
As mentioned above, he is the ferryman and protects travellers in their journey.
This theme of Revati Nakshatra indicates that the natives are well versed in direction and can easily follow maps and reach their destination, and will be experts in navigation.
Leading others, showing the way to others physically, mentally or through counselling can be a theme for Revati natives.
Pushan and Ashwin Kumaras are known for their ability to heal animals.
The energy of Pushan is invoked during the Ashwamedha yagna (horse sacrifice ritual) to protect the horse from falling and injuring his leg and becoming lame, which indicates that the healer for lameness is Pushan.
It must be noted that the 12th house in astrology or the birth chart is where Revati Nakshatra dwells, and the 12th house denotes the feet of the native.
Pushan is the shepherd and veterinarian among the Gods.
As a result, Revati natives have a special affinity and fondness for animals and pets.
Revati natives can take special interest in zoologists, marine biologists, animal conservationists, etc.
Pushan’s mode of transportation is unique, with a goat drawn chariot useful in travelling hilly terrains and dangerous roads.
The animal goat is very adept in climbing hilly terrain and places difficult to access, which shows Revati natives may love exploring places, have an interest in visiting foreign nations and travelling or dwelling near mountains.
The story of the shepherd also connects Revati closely with Krishna or Christ.
The natives will be extremely fond and close to one of these figures because both were shepherds and protected animals, which is why they also make great safety officers in corporations.
Princess Revati is supposed to have been the wife of Lord Balaram.
The princess and her father approached Brahma and saw that he was sleeping.
Finally, after waking up, Brahma enquired as to why they were there.
Her father said he wanted to find a suitable bridegroom for his daughter.
Brahma mentioned that by waiting for him in Brahma Loka, where time moves at a slower rate than the Earth plane, the corresponding time in Earth had changed yugas, and their kingdoms have vanished with men being shorter than what they were before.
Brahma said that the only man suitable in this new yuga was Balaram, the elder brother of Lord Krishna.
Balaram used his plough to make Revati’s height shorter which indicates the partner of Revati natives will be shorter in height.
This Nakshatra can also provide an extremely tall partner.
It also shows that a Revati native will procrastinate on choosing their partner and miss out on the perfect match.
This is the confusion of the two fishes they run into.
Time goes much slower for Revati, and they will always take their time when doing any task or making any decision.
Such people are not good at working in a place where quick decision-making is required.

Characteristics of Shatabhisha Nakshatra in Astrology
The yoni animal of Shatabhisha Nakshatra is the #female #horse.
A horse has a great balance and fast ability to escape danger; they can sleep standing up or sitting down and reproduce at a very early age.
These are just some basic notes on horses.
A Shatabhisha native wants to finish things fast and as soon as possible.
They are excellent in averting danger, either physical or psychological.
Shatabhisha natives will start their puberty or menstrual cycle and become sexually active early in their life.
Shatabhisha natives find it easiest at any place to take a nap, whether it’s on an uncomfortable plane or in the comfort of their bedroom.
They use sleep as a way to gain energy and simply for pleasure.
Their main aim is to wake up as early as possible so that they can start running in the race of life.
A horse lacks a collarbone; hence, a Shatabhisha native may have weak collarbones.
The most distinctive feature of a horse is his muscles and endurance, which is widely known worldwide, so it’s obvious that a Shatabhisha dominated person has strong muscle tendons and the ability to work for longer and faster than others.
One word that comes to mind is “Horsepower”, which is used in describing the power of a car’s engine.
A horse is an extremely powerful animal that can kill a man with a single kick from his hind legs.
If we compare a horse’s body to a human, the horse’s hind legs are his actual legs, while the front two can be considered as arms.
A Shatabhisha native will have strong legs and thighs to help them run in sports.
The symbolism of this Nakshatra is an empty circle, which represents many things.
It can show an enclosed circle like a group, cult, or community where the individual attains hidden information. It can also represent a black hole as it is empty and dark in the middle.
Basketball is a sport where the ball is put inside the hole.
This symbolism shows that such people want to be within a boundary and surrounded by some protection from the world.
The deity of the Shatabhisha Nakshatra is Lord Varuna, the God of cosmic law, cosmic ocean and sky and is also one of the Adityas.
He rules the mysteries and the underground waters. He is associated with occult abilities, secrets and destiny.
Varuna rules over the West direction. He is the Lord of the underworld and healing as well.
Varuna is believed to have 1000 eyes, which are stars of the night sky. Varuna is also connected with Dakshinayana, the Sun’s movement in the southern celestial hemisphere.
He also carries the pot with the nectar of immortality, Amrit, and has the ability to give life and overcome death.
Varuna & Mitra are often invoked together, and Varuna is considered to be the night Sun or the dark Sun. He rides on crocodiles or makara-like animals.
Interestingly, Vedas also call him an asura. Another story we hear from different scholars is about how from an astral plane yagna, the celestial apsara Urvashi appears.
Mitra and Varuna were overwhelmed by her sexuality and ejaculated.
Their semen containing their sperms falls into a mud-pitcher, where the foetus of Agastya Maharishi is born.
He is born from the same jar as his sibling Vashishtha.
Agastya was born from the sperm of Varuna and Vashishtha from Mitra’s.
A love triangle theme can be generally seen with Anuradha and Shatabhisha natives.
Varuna is also known for carrying a pasa (noose), just like Nirritti and Yama.
Varuna used his pasa randomly to seize unsuspecting victims, while Yama used it to drag the soul of a dying person to hell.
Varuna is known to be equipped with shackles and staff, symbolizing his authority and commanding qualities.
The word Shatabhisaj is formed from two words, Shata (means hundred) and Bheesaj (healers).
Hence the literal meaning of Shatabhisha Nakshatra means 100 healers or 100 physicians.
It demonstrates Varuna’s ability of healing and regaining good health.
Varuna has a harsh, punishing ability along with a merciful and compassionate one.
In one of the stories, Sage Agastya is known to have drunk the entire ocean to expose the demon Kalakeya hiding in the ocean to be killed by the Devas.
Varuna is also supposed to have cursed his father, Kashyapa, along with his mothers, Diti & Aditi, to be born in the Earth plane for having stolen a cow from him to do a yagna.
The father was reborn as Krishna’s father Vasudeva, and his mothers were born as Rohini and Devaki.

Characteristics of Dhanishta Nakshatra in Astrology
The deity of Dhanishta Nakshatra is the Ashtavasus, the 8 Vasus.
Vasu means a ray of light. The 8 Vasus are Apah (Water), Dhruva (Pole Star), Dhara (Earth), Anila (Wind), Soma (Moon), Anala/Pavaka (Fire), Pratyusha (The Dawn) and Prabhasa (Splendour).
The yoni animal of this Nakshatra is the #female #lion.
The female lion is the prime hunter of the pride. A lion cannot be seen running and killing a deer or a buffalo, but only on rare occasions when he is alone and hungry would he be hunting for food.
It’s the female lion, who is the planner, hunter and provider of pride.
She is willing to put her life on the line for everyone in the group.
The male lions do have a job where they protect the pride, cubs and their ground.
Most of the hunting for the lioness takes place from dusk till dawn.
What a female lion does is what a Dhanishta native is meant to do. Regardless of one’s sex or gender, they become the hunter or the breadwinner.
They are fearless, competitive and protective. The spouse of a Dhanishta native will always be protecting the young children.
The symbolism of this Nakshatra is flute and drums, which shows such natives are always trained in some type of musical instrument.
The symbol also represents the rhythm of life.
It can be any rhythmic pattern or the flow or vibration of life, or even the rhythm of nerves.
It can be noticed that many people with this Nakshatra become great pulse readers because the pulse is the rhythm of our prana (breath), our life; hence Dhanishta natives can become great doctors.
Ashtavasus are the Gods of abundance that bring prosperity and wealth such as gold, jewellery, land, etc., into the earth plane.
The Ashtavasus can be connected with the 8 directions of space and hint at Vastushastra.
The lioness of this Nakshatra is in connection with Narasimhi, the consort of Narasimha avatar and one of the 8-mother Goddess or Ashta Matrikas.
Her shaking of mane could create chaos to the stars and planets.
She was born to pacify Lord Narasimha, connected with the planet Mars, who was born to protect his devotee Prahlada from the demon King Hiranyakashipu.
Bhishma, a central character in Mahabharata, could be connected to this Nakshatra as well because he was an incarnation of Prabhasa, one of the ashtavasus.
Prabhasa had stolen a cow with the help of his siblings (other Ashtavsus) and got cursed by the sage Vashishtha to be born on the Earth as mortals.
Vashishtha later reduced his curse effects by allowing other Ashtavsus except Prabhasa to leave the mortal world within a year.
Ganga, the river Goddess, promised to help Ashtavasus.
She became the wife of King Shantanu on the condition that he never said anything in her way.
The 7 children, the 7 Ashtavasus born to her, were drowned by Goddess Ganga in the river.
When the 8th child was born, Shantanu couldn’t bear it anymore and opposed his wife, who immediately left him, reminding him about his promise.
The 8th son, Prabhasa, was named Devarata later became Bhishma in the mortal form.
On the deathbed of arrows, Bhishma advised Vishnu sahasranama to the guilt-ridden Yudhishthira for having taken part in the Mahabharata, which caused death and destruction to many.
Bhishma was able to select his moment of death and left the Earth when Sun started Uttarayana, the northward motion in the sky.
The word Dhanishtha has the connotation of the word “Dhan” in it, which literally means wealth, and hence wealth-related themes could be seen with this Nakshatra.
Moreover, the stars of Dhanishtha Nakshatra form the diamond-shaped Delphinus constellation in the sky.
The Vasus, such as Agni (fire), Vayu (wind), etc., helped Lord Indra in his fight with the demons, and hence this Nakshatra can also indicate some type of fight, competition, and competitiveness in a person’s life.
The biggest part to take out from Bhishma’s mythology may be unsuitable for some readers, especially women under 40.
This Nakshatra causes either miscarriage or abortion.
Many charts with Moon in Dhanishtha show the mother dealing with miscarriages, or in a female’s chart, the native had a miscarriage.
Jupiter aspecting the 5th house or Moon may alleviate effects to some extent and lower the chances of such mishappenings.
Whenever miscarriage happens for a woman, they must know there was a spiritual yogi, saint etc., who was trying to come into the womb to pay their karma and leave back to the astral world.
Knowing that the female native was giving birth to some great yogi is kind of a silver lining on this event.
This Nakshatra is the Nakshatra connected strongly with Bhishma pitamaha from Mahabharata.
Bhishma was the most feared and mightiest warrior in Mahabharata.
He was the man who couldn’t be defeated even by his guru Parshurama but was eventually defeated by his nephew Arjuna.
Dhanishtha is also linked with land, real estate and especially Vastushastra.
Dhanishtha natives are connected with real estate or have many investment properties.
Interest in Vastu was rare except for one big anomaly; they all had Vastu dosha in their home, as in misalignment of the floor plan, objects or colour causing some type of disharmony.
Bhishma had a blessing from his father Shantanu to decide his moment of death, and even after Arjun pierced his body countless times with arrows, he stayed alive until the war ended.
From Bhishma’s life, it can be seen that Dhanishtha natives are calm and will only bring fear when challenged.
They always take on fighting and combat training once in their life.
Dhanishtha natives of all ages love boxing, UFC fighting and wrestling, but more so, they can also be seen having other-dimensional experiences as celestial beings.
Dhanishtha native will also have major karma with marriage.
They are either not interested in marriage, or they desperately want marriage/relationship but attract partners providing a lack of partnership security.
They will also have to fight a major war in their life, either in court, personal combat or society.

Characteristics of Shravana Nakshatra in Astrology
The yoni animal of the Shravana Nakshatra is the #female #monkey.
The one thing known about monkeys from cartoons and Tarzan movies is that they swing from one branch to the other as a way of travelling.
They swing from one branch to the other for travelling.
Monkeys are extremely clever when it comes to stealing food and other things they can get their hands on.
In India, some thugs train monkeys to steal wallets and purses from people.
The Capuchin monkeys are extremely smart as they are able to make tools and use sign languages.
They are also very much into hygiene and will clean each other for bugs, lice and other critters in their fur, which allows them to socialize.
They enjoy living high on tree branches and prefer to be as high as possible.
Like natives of Purva Ashada Nakshatra, the Shravana natives will shift from one job to another countless times in their life before they settle into something meaningful and long-lasting.
Monkeys are able to leap from one branch to another, which tells us these natives will take big leaps in their lives in terms of relocation.
They are extremely clever and are able to learn and adapt very quickly.
They are very good at mimicry as monkeys are very apt at it.
The symbol of this Nakshatra is three footsteps, ear, and trident.
The symbol of the ear represents listening.
Shravana natives must listen to everything carefully, or they can miss some of the most important information, advice, and wisdom in their life.
The ear also shows the ability to listen to divine sounds beyond the scope of the normal five body senses.
The deity of the Shravana Nakshatra is the Vamana avatar of Lord Vishnu and is associated with the planet Jupiter.
Shravana is also considered to be the birth star of Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge.
Saraswati is the Goddess that blesses one with Vac siddhi, or the power of truth in one’s words.
Vamana was born to mother Aditi to bring down the desire of Mahabali, the demon king, to possess the world.
He was about to do a yagna that would let him conquer the world.
Lord Vishnu, in the form of Vamana, a dwarf brahmin child, approached king Mahabali with a wooden umbrella and asked for 3 steps of land.
His guru, Shukracharya, warned him that it was Vishnu in disguised as a dwarf brahmin.
However, Mahabali said that he couldn’t deny the request of a brahmin.
Shukracharya tried to stop him by blocking the water to come out of the kamandalu (water pot held in one’s hand) by blocking the pipe.
Vamana poked a hole in the pipe using a straw made of sharply pointed kusha grass.
Shukracharya injured his one eye and was blinded by this act.
Eventually, water flowed, and it was sprinkled by Mahabali granting his request.
Vamana immediately expanded into a giant, and with his first 2 steps, he covered the three worlds of Heaven, Earth and Patala Loka.
Vamana asked Mahabali for a piece of land for his 3rd step.
Mahabali realised the greatness of Vishnu and offered his own head as a place to place his 3rd step.
Vishnu was pleased with Mahabali’s act and blessed him to be Indra in the next manvantara and granted him the wish to come back to see his people once in a year, which is the festival of Onam, celebrated in Kerala.
Note the festival of Onam is celebrated on the day when Sun is in the Leo sign, and the Moon is transiting the Shravana Nakshatra.
From the mythology, it can be seen that Shravana natives will secretly take over a high-ranking spot by throwing the individual off of their position, similar to what Vamana did to Mahabali.
Shravana natives take leaps and bounds in far away or foreign places because Vamana grew so big that he conquered three different lokas.
A president or prime minister with such qualities will actually fight for the people and the established government.
If they are at their job or business, they will deal with three different project aspects of their work.
Vamana took three steps; hence for Shravana natives, three steps like three steps to promotion, three attempts to pass an exam, moving to three different countries, states or cities in their lifetime are prominently seen.
Shukracharya advised the king not to give the donation of 3 steps to Vamana, and when he tried to stop, he got his eye injured.
This aspect shows that either the native’s mentor or spouse (Venus in astrology) will give advice several times but fail to react until it’s too late or when something has gone wrong.
Shravana natives must listen to their spouse’s advice when it involves land, property, real estate, etc.
Shravana is coherent with the Dhanishta Nakshatra in making a person a great vocalist.
The tricky, sweet, and gentle vocal theme of Vamana makes Shravana natives natural magicians and hypnotists.
A vocalist and a singer usually have the same effect on the listener; although Dhanishtha is more about instrumental skills, they fall in the same category.

Characteristics of Anuradha Nakshatra in Astrology
The yoni animal of Anuradha Nakshatra is a #female #deer. A deer is found in a quiet place in the forest and shows youthfulness, and the elegance of life.
When you see a deer, whether male or female, you feel a sense of calmness, beauty and serenity.
The fusion fire inside Anuradha native is the need to reproduce like the rats of Magha Nakshatra.
Deer reproduces at an extremely fast pace.
They reproduce once every year.
They are not as fast as a rat, but they too reproduce quickly.
The deer is also one of the most killed animals by a car accident.
This can also show an Anuradha native usually always gets into car accidents or some kind of fender benders; it cannot be life-threatening unless other yogas are present and the native has completed their counted breaths.
Anuradha natives, as much as they are quiet, elegant and peaceful, they are hungry for sexual experience.
However, their sexual experience is not just about lust and having sexual parties like Phalgunis; they are about reproduction.
A female Anuradha native is ready to find and mate, and internally it is about producing a child.
The deer is also an excellent swimmer and runs around 35 miles an hour.
Anuradha females are excellent swimmers and runners.
The symbolism of Anuradha is the lotus, archway and a staff stick.
The first thing we understand about a lotus is that it grows in the dirtiest places yet, and is one of the most beautiful flowers.
Anuradha natives rise up from the struggles of life to ultimately be admired by people and shine like a lotus.
The stem of the lotus reaches down to the ground in the mud water, where it gets all its nutrients from; this translates into the nature’s plumbing system working at its best.
The Anuradha natives either have a great interest in plumbing or always have to deal with plumbing issues in life, especially when the Anuradha dasha (Tribhagi system) or sub dasha is operating.
The other symbolism of this Nakshatra is the staff, a mystical weapon that wields magic powers to destroy the obstacle in front of it.
The deity of Anuradha Nakshatra is Mithra, one of the Adityas.
Mitra is the God of friendship and is frequently invoked with Varuna, the God of cosmic laws and cosmic ocean.
Mithra promotes good faith, cordiality, and cooperation.
There is the story of Varuna and Mithra having fallen in love with the celestial damsel Urvashi.
In this love triangle, Urvashi liked Mitra more.
Mitra’s semen is supposed to have fallen into a pot, and eventually, the sage Vashishtha was born out of it.
Varuna’s semen is supposed to have fallen into another pot from which sage Agastya was born.
Both Agastya & Vashishtha were also called Mitra-Varuna. Mitra is also the divine friend.
Radha was the childhood friend of Lord Krishna, who was his greatest devotee.
Radha was so deeply in love with Krishna that, in spite of Krishna having left Radha to fulfill his duties as an avatar, her love took on to great mystical proportions, and she became enlightened.
Radha then acted out crazy as she lost her mind for losing Krishna.
The mythology of Anuradha emphasizes friendship and karma with friends.
In the life of an Anuradha native, either they will consider their friends much closer than their family, or they keep getting betrayed by friends.
However, regardless of the extreme, the theme of friendship plays out big in their life.
They may have friendships or have relationships with Persians.
Anuradha natives settle in foreign lands, meet new people and make new relationships like Mithra did.
Anuradha native gains through friendship, whether it is sitting around a table, smoking cigars with an idea bursting, or through some suggestion by a friend.
It has been mentioned that thousands of Laxmi manifested from the left side of Radha, who is the embodiment of all the Goddesses that we worship.
Anuradha natives are fortunate but acquire all the comfort and wealth in their late life. Why late? Radha realized later who she really was and manifested into, so Anuradha native received their transformation later in life.
It’s said in Srimad Bhagavatam that one should pray to Radha first, then Krishna.
Radha was the greatest devotee of Krishna, the true love of Krishna but never got Krishna in the physical world.
The Anuradha natives will run into someone special, who they are deeply in love with, deeply devoted to, but they never get to spend their whole life with them.
An Anuradha native will always have a bleeding pain in their heart for not attaining that person.
They can have the most good looking, rich and perfect spouse in their life, but they will always have a tiny space in their heart for that Radha they never received, and this plays out strongly in a male’s chart.
Radha also went crazy. She became a maniac and mad after losing Krishna.
Anuradha natives will always run into women and will go crazy or obsessed with them, and in marriage, they sometimes end up with a spouse who is crazy and protective.
Anuradha natives will also have people or someone to covert operations against them due to jealousy, possessiveness and obsessiveness.
They will also be very good with financial negotiations, especially in taxes and law.
Anuradha natives always get a chance to listen to people’s secrets and keep it a secret like a psychologist, lawyer or an astrologer would do.
Anuradha natives feel it is important to keep the secrets of other people because they want to know the truth.
An accountant is someone who knows exactly how much you make, but they are bound by keeping it a secret.
Hostage negotiators can also be seen with this Nakshatra because they not only do last minute negotiations, but also become the friend of the hostage taker.
Anuradha Nakshatra natives love playing golf, hockey, cricket or baseball.
These sports all involve the use of a stick.
Anuradha is represented by the staff of a rishi, which can even be known as the staff of a wizard.

The Anuradha native’s mind is always alive and receptive to all feelings and gestures of friendship and love. He is like the sentinel, always mounting guard over emotions, but lacking the hardness or toughness of the official sentinel.
Anuradha is one of the Mridu (delicate) and Maitra (friendly) Nakshatras. In these Nakshatras, things like learning and singing songs, getting clothes prepared and wearing them, playing games, things relating to friends, getting jewels made, and wearing them may be auspiciously done.

Characteristics of Chitra Nakshatra in Astrology
The yoni animal of Chitra Nakshatra is the #female #tiger.
Studying a female tiger gives insights into a lot of attributes about Chitra Nakshatra.
The first thing we learn about this beautiful female tiger is that she hunts around 3:30-4:00 when it is completely quiet, yet certain animals are starting to wake up.
A Chitra native will always wake up during this time or at least become aware that they were asleep and now they are up, not necessarily do something specific, but some people may love having midnight snacks due to this quality.
Tigers also hunt at night due to their retinal adaptation to darkness; they can see extremely clearly in the dark, so a tiger, whether male or female, can see quite well in the dark.
Chitra natives can easily adapt to darkness much quicker and faster than others, especially when Sun or Moon are in this Nakshatra because these are the luminaries.
A tiger is an extremely careful animal and is so quiet when hunting that you wouldn’t know what hit you.
She would suddenly launch at you with an attack.
Chitra natives are also very quiet, but when they are pushed constantly; they will suddenly lunge and attack you, and they don’t just attack to show, they will attack to cause some harm, so you know next time not to provoke them.
A tiger has bangle patches all around their body, which is to discourage predators, and to show that they are present, and not to be messed with.
A female tiger has to eat 50% more than her normal appetite to sustain the life inside her.
No matter how much they ate, they would not be full. Just like a mama bear, a mother tigress will put all her attention into attending to their cubs because they can fall prey to other animals.
Chitra females will be far more protective and aggressive with people wanting to hold and play with their newborn babies.
They become extra paranoid with things in the house that can hurt their child.
Tvastar/Vishwakarma is the celestial architect, who designed the entire universe.
He is invoked for desiring offspring.
Tvastar created the illusion, Maya, which sustains this world.
He also created divine weapons for devas, such as Vajra for Indra, a chalice for Soma, Sudarshan Chakra for Vishnu, Trishul for Shiva, and different lokas as well.
He is the father of Viswarupa or Trishira (the 3 headed Asura), who was killed by Indra, and in vengeance, Tvastar created Vritra, the great dragon.
Tvastr was also the father of Sanjana, who is the wife of Surya and mother of Yama and Yami (the first mortals).
The animal of this Nakshatra is a tiger. The tiger riding Goddess Durga is the one who is supposed to have defeated the demon Mahishasur.
Swami Ayyappa, who was born from Mohini avatar of Vishnu & Lord Shiva, was found in Pamba forest and adopted by the king Raja Rajashekhara, but his wife didn’t want Manikandan (Ayyappa) to inherit the throne and asked him to get tigress milk.
Lord Manikandan went into the forest and returned, riding a tigress followed by a pack of her cubs.
He eventually became the main deity of the Sabarimala temple.
The word Chitra means a picture, whether it’s a drawn picture or taken from a camera.
One of the first things we learn from the mythology is that Chitra natives are excellent architects, not just those who build buildings, but are also excellent at constructing a blueprint of any plan or project.
They are very good at synthesizing a complicated problem into a simple yet beautiful solution.
Tavstar created Maya, the illusion; hence, Chitra natives can be excellent illusionists or magicians.
Being an architect means you are great at observing monuments and what’s needed for construction.
Chitra natives always have to deal with some kind of a weapon in their life like a gun, knife or some kind of tool that helps them win some war.
They will construct some weapons for a higher authority as well.
Chitra natives will also have many issues with their bosses and authorities as Tavstar had a rough relationship with Indra.
Chitra is also connected with Chitragupta (celestial accountant), the one who keeps accounts and records of all the souls.
Chitra natives love keeping accounts of books like an accountant, or they tend not to forget what happened to them or what you did to them, and keep a strict account of everything so each event can have its proper payback time.
The ability to keep books or accounts can also translate into having a photographic memory, where you never forget the right and the wrong.
Natives with the ascendant lord, Mercury, Jupiter, or Moon in this Nakshatra may have a photographic memory.
Chitra natives have a strong theme with stepmothers.
The queen of Raja Rajashekhara never wanted someone else’s child to take on the kingdom and tried to secretly kill by giving him a task she knew he would fail and die.
However, the boy, defying all the odds, not only bought the milk, but also rode on the tigress, which provided the milk.
This shows never that Chitra natives should never be challenged as they will always win and win big, but can be cheated by their mother/stepmother for the benefit of their siblings.
Chitra natives also love sculpting their bodies so they can become photogenic when this Nakshatra is either placed in the ascendant or with Mars.
Sculpting the body doesn’t mean bodybuilding; it can also convert into yoga, so the body can be aligned and sculptured to become a chariot for the mind in the proper direction.
Mars is the ruler of this Nakshatra and is about competitive spirit, athletics, competition and fighting a good fight.
Mars also rules the 8th house from Virgo, where Chitra starts, and this has been observed multiple times that Chitra native, in Virgo, would love doing magic, rituals and diving into the occult without fear.
On the Libra side, Chitra natives would love to sculpt their bodies to impress others, and they are extremely stylish in their clothing, hair and wardrobe.
Sometimes, you may not find it in people who are yogis or spiritualists, but in normal people, you will.
From Virgo ascendant, Mars also rules the 3rd house of sports, games and media, and such people have a flair for not only sports, but also mental games like board games, chess, and other brain games.
The symbolism of this Nakshatra is shining gems.
Many times, Chitra natives can be found having a love for gems, gemology or being involved in jewellry business, but the symbolism means more than just the literal gem.
It shows that Chitra natives want to shine like a gem in their life, and they usually do.
People see them as rare in their field because it is so hard to find someone like them, just like a gem and how it’s formed by enormous pressure for millions of years.

Savitur is also known for being the setting sun, the one who gets sacrificed.
In Rig Veda, he is known to bring all two-footed and four-footed beings to home or rest (death) and to awaken them (giving life).
This is perhaps why it is known as the ‘Widow Maker’.

Characteristics of Punarvasu Nakshatra in Astrology
The animal of Punarvasu Nakshatra is the #female #cat. A female cat is moody, loves to hunt, and is far more territorial than a male cat.
They chew their claw, enjoy fresh food and water. A cat in the wild would rather sleep in a den than a fluffy bed because they are hunters, and they need to feel safe.
Cats are smarter than dogs and can easily open doors, fridge, and get into any space they feel like.
In ancient times, a cat was the symbolism of royalty. In the great culture of ancient Egypt, which is few thousand years old, the cat was not only a symbol of royal status, but also mysticism.
Cats have the ability to see spirits, give omens, and help their owner to increase their psychic powers. This is why a psychic with a cat is always seen in movies.
Cats are also protectors because they always try to clean your aura by rubbing against you, and if any danger comes, they will defend you.
Punarvasu natives are natural protectors of the zodiac. They always feel they must protect things around them and their loved ones.
Punarvasu, in the Cancer side of the zodiac, can become moody and stubborn.
The natives must always have fresh food and clean water.
On the Gemini side, these natives are excellent hunters, although on the Cancer side, they are still hunters but will only hunt when necessary and not for sports.
Just like how cats zone to its target, whether it’s a rat, bird or a snake in the backyard, Punarvasu natives always have a set target in their life, which they always achieve.
Punarvasu is the #birth #star of #Lord #Rama, the Indian God, who was the 7th reincarnation of Lord #Vishnu.
The story of Lord Rama is what simply plays out in the life of a Punarvasu native.
Lord Rama was born in a royal family and had a stepmother who favored her own son (Bharata) over him to be the next king of the kingdom.
He won the heart of his wife (Sita) and father-in-law (Janaka) by breaking the “Pinaka” bow of Shiva, which no one on earth could pick up easily (Bow and arrow is the symbol of this Nakshatra) other than a noble man.
When time came for him to claim his throne, his stepmother Kaikeyi demanded him to be exiled into the forest for 14 years because she wanted her own son (Bharata) to take on the royal throne.
Lord Rama, being a noble man did not desire for any kingdom, earthly enjoyments and lavish lifestyle, and simply told his father that he would do what his mother, Kaikeyi, wished and left the kingdom.
He wandered with his younger brother (Laxman) and wife (Sita) in the forest, but towards the end, Sita was abducted by Ravan, the intelligent demon.
Rama sought the assistance of an army of divine monkeys and their leader, Hanuman, to get Sita back.
They crossed into Sri Lanka by throwing rocks in the ocean as a bridge and walked across.
After completing his exile term, Rama eventually defeated Ravana, got his wife back, and returned to his kingdom.
This is the theme of Punarvasu (return of the light). No matter how dark the hour is for these people, they always rise and come back to the status of king.
There were scandals attached to Rama and his wife as people accused Sita of going with Ravan and had to pass the test of Agni, the fire God.
She passed the test but had a sadness that her husband doubted her loyalty.
Sita delivered twin boys, Luv & Kush, but after their birth, Sita was taken back into the Earth after repeated accusations and demand for the test of purity.
Just like Rama had to take an exile on his own behalf even though he could’ve refused it, the natives of this Nakshatra find themselves on a self- inflicted exile in life for at least 10-14 years where they feel like a vagabond, not knowing where they are going, what they are doing and struggling.
In the life of a young individual, one may just want to do back packing across the world, sleeping on floor, hostels, eating whatever they can, and experience the world.
When it comes to relationships, they tend to go through multiple relationships or marriages as they may suspect one of the spouses or girlfriend/boyfriends for having an affair.
Punarvasu stands for repeated themes alongside the return of the light symbol; hence, these natives always have to do things repeatedly to achieve them.
When these people fail at any project, business or mission, they should not give up on it after the first failed attempt because the next attempt at the same venture becomes the theme of “Return of Light”, and they may succeed.
President Donald Trump filed 4-5 bankruptcies in his life and always managed to stay ahead of the game, he attempted to run for president in the year 2012 and failed quite quickly, but when he returned in 2015, he went from announcement all the way to the White House.
The story of Luv & Kush shows there is a strong potential that Punarvasu natives can have twins.
But they also like to have two identical things in their personal life, like having two identical statuses, two desktops, two tables, two or more properties etc.
Since Rama and Sita were royal individuals roaming the jungles of India, they tried best to find comfort, especially Lakshmana finding the most comfortable way for Sita and Rama to sleep at night while he looked out for any intruders.
This small story has shown that many Punarvasu natives love carrying their own pillow whenever travelling because they want the royal comfort of their own home.
Rama had a great love for nature and respected it to its utmost sincerity.
Even when he killed deers in the wild to feed him and his family, he prayed to the deer and thanked them for giving his life for his nutrition.
Punarvasu natives love fighting for the environment, doing philanthropy work, and giving donations.
The big story of Punarvasu is related to land, real estate and resorts due to Aditi.
She gave birth to the Vamana avatar of Vishnu, who only wanted 3 steps of land from demon king Mahabali, who didn’t realize the supreme power behind the young boy.
The boy grew to an enormous size and took over 3 different Universes in just 3 steps, and conquered all the demon’s lands.
Punarvasu natives always want to get into the real estate or resort business.
This Nakshatra also will allow a person to sell products of others like a merchandizing specialist.
Attributes of Punarvasu Nakshatra in Astrology
Spread from 20’00” degrees Gemini (Mithun) up to 3’20” Cancer (Karaka).
Punarvasu is derived from ‘Puna’ & ‘Vasu’, which means return, renewal, restoration, or repetition.
The 12 Adityas were born of Kashyapa in the womb of #Aditi.
The 12 Vasus are Indra, Vishnu, Vaga, Twashta, Varun, Aryamana, Pusa, Mitra, Agni, Parjyanya, Vivaswan and Dinakar.
The mother, Aditi, of whom the Gods are born, is the repository of everything good – truth, generosity, magnanimity, purity, aristocracy, beauty, and renown. It follows that this star is the cause for these virtues.
Punarvasu signifies to start afresh after breaking off, to start a new life, and to come back from a distant land.
It stands for freedom from restriction, limitation and boundless space.

Characteristics of Ardra Nakshatra in Astrology
The animal of Ardra Nakshatra is a #female #wolf or a female #dog. A dog is the most fascinating creature on this planet.
It can love to the point that it will give its life for you, or it can bite and throttle someone’s bone if they cross their territory.
They are needy, emotional, and pack animals. They always want to be with you and feel abandoned when you go to work.
Dogs have alpha dog in the pack, usually in domestic settings, where there are more than 3 dogs.
One will always become the alpha, but there aren’t any alpha in wolves except the senior dog, who may be the pack’s parent.
They work as a team without a leader.
Translating these facts into Nakshatra is quite simple. Ardra natives require extreme loyalty in love and friendship.
They do not want to feel abandoned by you else, they either become extremely emotional or wild like the wolf to defend their loyalty for you.
They go to extremes of showing their loyalty by even giving their own lives, but when you cross them or their loved one, they will come after you like a hungry dog or wolf and eat the flesh off of you.
They are unpredictable, like a strange dog. You do not know if they are friendly or will try to bite you.
Therefore, everyone is cautious of approaching an Ardra native.
When Ardra natives gets angry, sad and frustrated, they will howl and scream like the wolf, especially when the impact of malefics is on the planet placed in Ardra.
Usually, these people are calm and very private, like the wild wolves, which hide in the deep forest.
Wolves are excellent hunters in the world. Ardra natives love going hunting, which is also their symbolism of “The Hunter”.
They love eating wild game meat like elk, venison, wild boar, alligator etc. This quality of hunting also gives such natives good eyesight in the dark.
Such folks will always hunt for their object of desire when they like someone and will do whatever it takes to get them.
The deity of this Nakshatra is Rudra (Shiva). Shiva is an# Aghori, the one who is naked, constantly meditates, deals and loves death, knows the value of death, stays in cremation grounds, eating wild fruits, berries of forest including meat.
Yes, Shiva did it all. All the things are in Shiva Purana. Shiva is known as #Bholenaath (the innocent one), he gives whatever you ask him.
He is always in meditation and calm, but if you were to disturb him from his meditation, he will not only destroy you but has the capacity of destroying the entire Universe.
Rudra (Shiva) is also one of the first #medicine man from the #Rig #Veda.
He is one of the best physicians of all times. He was making medicine himself and healing people under the name Vaidyanatha (Lord of remedies).
Rudra is the embodiment of Shiva with armor along with bow & arrow, just like the Hunter of Orion.
It’s said that one must worship Rudra in order to attain moksha.
Rudra was created by multiple Gods to get to Brahma, who was chasing his daughter for procreation.
Gods wanted something so powerful that could take Brahma down, and this is how Rudra was manifested.
Ardra natives are exactly like Shiva.
They are wild, unorthodox; they can go to the extreme of everything like extreme meditation, love, lust, anger, work, and emotions, just like how Shiva’s anger can destroy the whole Universe.
They are usually calm people who are wild in a silly sense.
They are very animated and can be boys of boys or girls amongst boys due to the muscle nature of this Nakshatra.
A girl usually is a tomboy in youth.
Once Shiva is disturbed from his calm mood or backstabbed, then they become Rudra and will destroy whatever is in front of them.
They are the ones who can throw everything from their desk when angry.
Ardra natives also make great physicians, and are related to pharmaceutical and Ayurveda professions.
Career is determined by using the Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha technique.
The symbolism of Ardra is a teardrop and a skull. The teardrop represents the drop of the storm.
A storm will always start out with a few drops on your head, and before you know, you are in a flood of water.
The drop is known as a “tear drop”, which is the teardrop of Shiva.
In real life, Ardra must face storms of emotions where tears just come out.
When they cry, they will cry a storm and usually, it can be over very small things.
The cry is not normal; it’s a cry with a howl and scream.
Out of all the Nakshatras, Ardra is the most emotional and with deep feelings, but the reason why they have such feelings is because the world is supposed to betray those feelings, so the water inside turns into a fierce storm.
It’s in their karma to deal with tears; therefore, they make the best actors in front of a camera.
When Ardra native reads a letter, email or text message from past, they can have a river of tears flowing out of them.
The symbolism of the skull is the mystical and realistic side of Ardra.
A skull is actually one of the best tools for an Aghori in the cremation ground.
They use the skull for drinking wine. It may be sacrilegious for us, but we are too dumb to understand the scientist (Aghori) practicing this science of nature.
There is a logical purpose why an Aghori smears themselves with ashes and drink from skull or eat the flesh of the dead.
The skull symbolism shows that Ardra is not afraid of death and is curious about the world of mysticism, occult, tantra, and magic rituals.
Skull is also where the hair grows, and Ardra represents the hair of Shiva.
The controller of this Nakshatra is Rahu. All three Nakshatras of Rahu, which are Ardra Nakshatra, Swati Nakshatra and Shatabhisha Nakshatra, will have a lot of similar themes to them compared to other Nakshatra being ruled by a single planet.
Rahu is like Jupiter. All Rahu ruled Nakshatras love space, science fiction, astrophysics, the astral plane, fantasy and anything to do with the new-age technology.
Even though Ardra is a medicine man, but these natives are attracted to future technology.
Out of all the Nakshatras of Rahu, Ardra has the capacity to write a great science fiction book.
All Ardra natives dive into the fantasy of what is the world, how the world works, and what else is out there in the ether besides this blue planet, Earth.
Attributes of Ardra Nakshatra in Astrology
Ardra Nakshatra extends in Gemini (Mithun) from 6’40” to 20’00”.
When Surya enters Ardra, the Earth is said to be starting its menstrual course, that is, Ambubachi.
Ardra means wet or surcharged with water. Because the Earth is running her menstrual course, teardrops fall one after another.
From Rudra comes all suffering, persecutions and oppressions, anger, the ferocity of countenance or hideousness of noise. Rudra is another name of Shiva, the five-faced (Panchanana).
In knowledge, asceticism, renunciation, and enjoyment, he is the supreme consummation of all desires. He is a blue-throated one, the wielder of the tremendous powers, what could not be attempted, far less achieved by other Gods.
On one side, he symbolizes the perfect placidity and serenity; on the other hand, he is the symbol of all that is terrible. He holds the great serpent on his head and forehead crescent Chandra with his sweet-soft light.
At the same time, he is the most peaceful and the most terrible. And in all these are to be traced the intrinsic characteristics of Ardra.
Superficially, on the surface of it, Ardra stands for suffering, hardness, cruelty, murder, prison, theft, adultery, etc.
The root characteristic is oppression in order to purify. All male kidney troubles, connected urethral diseases and also uterine diseases of the females, come within the jurisdiction of Ardra.
