Ashli Babbitt’s family still hasn’t filed wrongful-death suit: report

The family of Ashli Babbitt β€” the woman shot dead while storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 β€” still hasn’t filed the wrongful-death suit for which their legal team raised $460,000

Meanwhile, her husband is on MAGA television saying that she was trying to stop the riot... you can't make this shit up

The online fundraiser page says it β€œis currently disabled and can not receive new donations.”

Her family is a whole lot of WTF

In September, Babbitt’s brother Roger Stefan Witthoeft was charged with a hate crime resulting from an altercation with a San Diego utility worker. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, he unsuccessfully requested last month that a judge divert prosecution in that case on account of the β€œextreme stress and trauma” caused by his sister’s death. Witthoeft was also reportedly charged with battering a man he felt was slow in helping a disabled person get out of their car in January. He pleaded not guilty in both cases.

Because all of us respond to loss of a loved one by going out and beating people up, amirite?
