I think this was somewhere in Sweden. Nanna really demonstrated what her voice can do in this performance. Her cousin Idun has a sweeter voice, but few women have as powerful a voice as Nanna.

This tune was written by Lu Watters when he was on the SS Antigua, a US Navy supply ship during WWII. He recorded it with his Yerba Buena Jazz Band in SF. It was released in 1947.

This video seems to be recorded by a cellphone from the side of the stage. As a consequence, both the sound quality and the view of the performers are disappointing. Also disappointing is that this is 516.4 MiB, but it's only 1:03:13 long. If this were super high quality video and audio, that would be OK with me, but the quality is below par.
Gunhild, herself does a great job. I just wish I could hear her and the band better.
Her new song, "Fire Alarm" is great. I hope she performs it with her family and friends when she gets back home. When her husband Johan engineers the videos, they are much better. In this performance, none of her family (either from Sweden or California) appears.
She plays Renaissance recorder, slide whistle, harmonica, Swedish bagpipes, trombone, trumpet, and cornet. She also dances and sings.

Oh good! She's finishing with her own "Hot Head."

I had never heard this tune before I recently heard Gunhild Carling play it. All the musicians here were also in the All Star Stompers, except for Mutt Carey and Hank Duncan. Carey replaces Wild Bill Davison, and Duncan replaces Ralph Sutton.

Idun (18) (former Swedish TV actress and now an undergrad at UC Irvine) and Viggo (16) are Gunhild’s children. Michelle, the Budhrani brothers and Easwar Dasineni are neighbors of Gunhild in Cupertino. The Carling sisters are Gunhild’s nieces.
