RO fan art~ From left: Thomas, Molly, Kei, Whispersio, Mef.
Here Kei gets married to the woman of his dream: an ordinary town girl with feminine qualities named Molly (a total wife material, to him).

Whispersio greets Molly, but she's somewhat frightened to react because Whispersio was initially one of the many monsters of the realm. So, Kei tried to tell her it's alright because Whispersio is Thomas' pet now. He's tame and won't punch anyone except Thomas.

This is a short scene in my RO fan fic, but it will not be shown in my doodly comic. I made their tuxedos have a hint of their job uniforms. Thomas' is the easiest (idk why priests never button their shirts, lol; oh, his bow tie is on Whispersio); Kei has a red bow tie (like the Sniper's red arm band); and Mef is wearing what rogues would wear... yeah they kinda 'fancy'... but some artists do be like that, right? But uh... Mef, your bow tie is a bit crooked...

Happy holidays, everybody. 🎄 May y'all be able to spend it with people who are precious to you.

I wanted to draw something for the winter as I usually would, but I had no idea of what and who to draw. My pal, @/TheSalguod on dA gave me an idea, so here it is. I forgot to add Vic's dark circles under his eyesssss aaaaaaaaa (will edit the dA version only later on)

While everyone gets cosy and comfy in their homes or being with close friends and families, our lone ranger Vic travels from the Northern District back to the Capital District during this time off. He's got no friends up north or whatever anyway (and Aaron doesn't count as one). Once in the Capital, he gets a call from Tsumura to hang out; maybe grab a drink at Crimson Angel Restaurant. Vic was about to decline because he'd prefer to be on his own, but then he realised it's the holidays, man. And so here they are, having hot chocolate and taking a break from life.

Vic thinks to himself that maybe he does have a friend, after all. And sure, it snows almost every day in Sigma, but sometimes even the most mundane of things feel better when enjoyed with good company.

My OCs, Thiazi and Jayden Lazarus.

Some of the people at the Nexus Camp have been asking Jayden, their unofficial camp leader if the camp would ever grow bigger. Jayden told them that he'd have to make sure the surrounding area is safe enough for expansion first.

Thiazi the soldier Aquila is ready to be ordered to scout, being the only one who could literally provide them with a bird's eye view of the area.
(it is amazing that his uniform is still intact...)

So, now Jayden is thinking of where to ask Thiazi to scout first. North is the safest bet, west is too... east side risks entering Aquila territory, and south carries the risk of hostility from the Nocturnals. North first, or west first? Hmm~

Inktober 6: Golden + Inktober 7: Drip
This is Vic. Sort of a redraw of an old drawing. Vic's colour is always red, but I remember how his hazel eyes shone like gold under the sun. Hence, 'golden'. The drip part... well, I decided to change the rain in the old art to just gold liquid dripping down the windows. I used my gold glitter pen for that. It's so sparklyyyy~~ xD

Inktober 8: Toad
This is Toad's mascot(?), a toad. Toad is a database management toolset. I don't use it and only knew of it thanks to this prompt. I wonder if any folks here would know of this tool software thingy.

Inktober 9: Bounce
RO fan art featuring the main trio of my fan fic (which I am still holding on to the desire to make a doodly comic of)!
Outside the city walls, Thomas gives prayers to a bouncing pink blob called Poring (I'd call it RO's mascot), thus increasing the Poring's movement speed. Usually a slow fella, this Poring is now faster than his peers! Kei is in stitches upon seeing this. For some reason, seeing fast Porings always cracks him up real good. Even the thought of it is enough to make him laugh. Mef, while 'hiding' in a barrel, makes a dry face seeing this silliness. He thinks to himself, 'Yeah OK, it's a tiny bit funny... if you're 5. Geez.'

My OCs, Vic and Aaron. It seems like a fateful meeting has taken place. After a few months of being in military camp, Vic was transferred to the Northern District of Sigma. Unknown to him, his former boss named Aaron was also transferred there (but months before him).

As he tried to find his way around, Vic stumbled upon Sector 24 of the ICM that made metals. They met up at the bridge at the entrance and did a quick catching-up. Vic eventually spoke to Aaron about how he felt like leaving the army if he could; but Aaron told him to stay put, that he might learn something. Give it a year or two.

"...I might need an extra pair of hands from time to time, who knows? Whenever you're free, that is," said Aaron.
"Always looking to boss me around, huh," joked Vic. "Slave driver."
"And you're unexpectedly my favourite slave."
Vic smiled. Their work style was compatible with each other, and he found that interesting as well.

Well, Vic ought to get going. He doesn't want to get bad rap with Silas.

Vic starts getting used to Silas' rigidness and realises that Silas is actually pretty strict. Vic would liken him to an army version of Aaron.

Speaking of Aaron...

...Vic recalls that after RESET was shut down, Aaron was nowhere to be seen. Whenever Vic mustered enough courage to call or message him, he never picked up. There were a few rare times when he did reply Vic's messages, though... but all in short sentences. Where has Aaron gone to and what is he up to?

While thinking of this, Vic walks on along the hallway to get to the ICM Sector he's assigned to for the week; but he realises he was lost, against all odds. 'Must've taken a wrong turn somewhere...' he thought. 'Man, this is a new low (for a guy who memorises floor plans for a living).' Meanwhile, someone peeks in from the doorway of the Smelting Sector. An eager face.

P/S: Got an idea for basic ICM structure by looking up SIC codes. Man, sure makes me miss my old job.

The grumpy army medic Maddox has come to a decision to accept the offer to join the Special Unit/SU.
(Maddox: "There goes my access to a legal... substance... lab." -_-)

Maddox has always loved his realm/country, so it was rather expected that he'd join the SU and enforce the Special Laws of the realm that basically keeps local gang activities in check and limiting outside influence (for now, there is only Nexus).

The latter is Maddox's focus. He wants to make sure that Sigma remains as Sigma. He wasn't bothered about local gangs, but he is very sensitive when Nexus lifestyle tries to seep into Sigma. He believes that Sigma and Nexus are two different cultures and lifestyle, so it was unnatural for one to behave like the other. This is also why he gave his 110% during the Remigration Project.

Now that all the Nexus Immigrants have gone home, only a handful of Sigma-born ones are left. Although most of them have been assimilated, Maddox wants to make sure they remain monitored and kept in line.

He will miss being a medic. He won't be wearing this outfit all the time though, since SUs usually do undercover work. So, he might be wearing a medic get-up once again some day...

Hello, everyone! Yes, this is the Artfol Challenge that managed to convince my hand to finally draw something after 2 months of artist block. [ Artfol link]

It features Vic, with Tsumura at the back there with a non-ergonomic workstation. As for the person standing by Vic's legs, I hope you guys can guess who it is, haha~

Remove yourself, Vic; you're in the way.
Huh, Vic's not budging. He wants to lie down on the couch, no matter what.
Someone stops right next to his jutting-out legs, saying, "Your salary for the month is reducing with every passing second you block my path, at a rate of n-minus-1 per second."
Vic doesn't react. He's going to show he's not scared of trivial pay cut threats. He wants to lie down on the couch, no matter what.
Seconds later, Vic opens his eyes and realises no one is there anymore, except Tsumura at the back.
His phone beeps a moment after. He flips it open and sees a text message that reads, "I will discipline you after this."
He closes his phone and continues lying down. 'You don't scare me, Suit,' he thinks.

After two months of having artist block, I am finally drawing something!
It got started thanks to an Artfol challenge which I will upload once I am done with it. This one finished first because I really wanted to draw this fella.

This is a semi-chibi of my Ragnarök Online (iRO) game character, Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop, chilling out with his his little ghost pet, Whispersio at a beach town called Comodo. He's drinking a knock-off of the famous Tropical Sograt cocktail.

I would have wanted to draw him in his church uniform, but I needed something simpler for warming up, but I decided to keep the uniform's trousers and shoes. My warm-up sketch turned out pretty good. So, I made a full drawing. ^^

The town is located inside a cave, light coming from lanterns of sorts and fireworks! Hence, the purplish glow and stuff. Its main attraction is was the casino, but thanks to U.S. laws, the gambling mini-games have been removed, making Comodo a rather pointless city in game.

Vic is concerned.

He hasn't seen his boss, Aaron a lot lately and there has been no talk of work from that ESTJ -- and that is highly suspicious. Worse, their team is down to four people now: him, Aaron, Tsumura, and a yet-to-report-in physician. :') The rest have been transferred elsewhere. (Vic wouldn't admit it, but having Maddox and Silas on the team would be great.)

Vic can see things are looking bleak.

Tsumura, although surprised at Vic's concern about a Suit and about work, tries to comfort him by saying it's alright, that Aaron's probably attending meetings and discussion on what their next expedition will be. "Aaron is the best boss," he says. "We can count on him."

Vic is not convinced.

Misc.:
My OCs, Tsumura the I.T. guy and Vic the inter-dimensional traveller. They're hanging out at Tsumura's place. His room is usually darker than this, but he knows Vic gets annoyed with dark environment, so he switched on an extra light. I wanted to do up the bg to show Tsumura's room, but I realised that Tsumura now lives in a unit within the government quarters, so this scene pales in comparison with his natural habitat. :') Lotsa restrictions on computer stuff; Government's keepin a close eye on this ex-convict.
And uhm... tbh, I'm not to happy with this piece. :/ And I think I will go back to my usual brushes.

"Where did you say you were from again...?" Thomas asks Vic.

What if Vic stepped through a rogue portal (a sudden portal with random destinations) and ended up in Midgard (that of Ragnarök Online)? o_O And for the heck of it, he meets my RO priest, Thomas Benedicta! xD I bet you he'd be in the midst of making holy water.

Thomas wouldn't be too weirded out at first because Vic's outfit is like that of a Mechanic’s (alternate version), or if he has a gun with him, he’s a Gunslinger. In terms of tech, Midgard’s like the Nexus in its glory days, so it should not be too hard for Vic to adapt. Besides, portals are such a norm there.

Still, some things will definitely be weird for Vic, like a priest having a pet ghost. Whispersio waves hi at Vic, but if it punches Vic, that's true friendship!

Misc:
I'm trying out a new brush set, 'Chalks for Children'. It's quite fun. I also avoided using ruler/line tool for the window for more squiggly-ness, haha.

After many months, RESET (Research and Special Expedition Team) sends a few people forth to go on a final trip to Nexus to check up on the Nexus camp of Remigrants. It wasn't compulsory, but Aaron wanted to make sure they were all doing well for just one more time before conclusively closing the book on Sigma's Migration chapters.

The team consists of our red chilli Vic, of course, curly-haired Thompson (a PMC), and one random medic. No, not Maddox. Maddox actually applied to be exempted from any future Nexus trips due to "health issues".

So here, under a tent, Vic gets the status report from Officer Annie (now known as just Miss Annie) and according to her, everything was going well. Their little settlement still has ways to go, but they will manage. After getting all the needed info and pictures, the team heads home. Vic reports to Aaron, Aaron likes what he sees, and Aaron will report to the DoD and make sure DoD also like what they see.

So... to conclude the trilogy: Vic has found a place to call home, Tsumura gets to remain in his homeworld, Aaron's hitting homerun with RESET and the Remigration Project, and the Nexus people (especially Jayden) that had to leave home have now returned to it.

The Journey Home trilogy has (finally) ended.

Semi-chibi commission done! It is a Christmas gift for a person who is special to them. I enjoyed drawing this piece, so I hope they will like it. I've given them the original version, of course.

This is the person's OC, Tsukki. I was to draw her in her long pink coat, with a wintery forest of birch trees and pinkish sunset in the background. I can only hope the person likes it and that I get all the details right.

First time drawing birch, to be honest... and glad to finally know what these trees are called because I always see them in photos.

Here's my OC, my little 'ducky' Jayden Lazarus -- a warm-hearted and theatrical librarian. A friend to all. He is wearing a sweater that is inspired by the male [Long-tailed Duck]. The long-tailed duck is one of the many waterfowls that can be seen around during winter.

My only entry for a Christmas event on [Artfol] called Artfolmas.

About Artfolmas:
It's a bingo card style of challenge. They have 24 prompts + 1 free space, and each user gets their own card of shuffled numbers. If you submit for a bingo line of your choice, then you get a badge! :: 46-05 [TJH] The Wayfarer ::

Meet Simon Alexander, former king of Silverya. He loves travelling and getting to know local cultures.

Simon may sometimes comes off as cold and snobbish, but all in all, he's not that bad. He has survived a war and is trained with offensive-style sword-dancing. He is resourceful and known to be quite a kicker during fights, both figuratively and literally. xD He is well-versed in lightning magic (a rare magic), having quite the big trouble with Sigma's Special Unit.

When a young prince, he realised that life was different beyond palace walls. It made him curious, so he began venturing on his own. The further he went, the more he discovered. That is how his love for travel began. He loved listening to stories told by the storytellers and bards.

He now owns and runs a hotel that was quite known by common folk who travel a lot. It isn't long after that the Remigration Project started to come into the picture; and the Sigma Government has their eyes on getting him to volunteer for their beta test (to live in Nexus for 1-2 months).
