✨ :: 47-53 [AL] Winter Weekend ::

Here's a piece following this season's festivities! I've never eaten a Yule Log before, but I do love Swiss rolls.

This drawing features some of the kiddos from my 'Another Life' story. It's basically a spin-off where all my OCs from all my stories coexist.

From left, kiddos who are present are Shintaro, Sindri, Manel and the ones not facing us is Rosa, Piht, and Rocío. Idun and Thiazi are not here. The one serving the Yule Log is Terenzio. Outside through the window, we can see Adrià (Manel's dad) inviting Shin's parents in (yes, Shin had excitedly run off to see his friends).

None of them have ever seen Yule Log cakes, so it makes one wonder where this could have come from.

And just like with Sugar Skulls, I realised that I failed to make the food item as the focus of the drawing, again. It's in the centre, yes, but kinda small and surrounded by other 'bigger' things. But ehh idk.

P/S: Originally, I was hoping to make a big one featuring my RO duo and my own OCs (the main ones) that might total to 12 or so people; but that was a bit too ambitious and I'm kinda drained from life events. So, I scrapped that idea. :< Yet, here I am drawing a picture that has 10 people. I do not understand my actions, haha. x'D

Grief is a monster at first; but a friend after. That's what they say.
For Thomas, Grief is still a monster, whether he befriends it or not.

"Grief is like that annoying acquaintance who clings onto you despite knowing it's not wanted; and it shows up when you least expects it to. Some days we enjoy the memories, some days Grief comes and hit me like a brick," says Thomas. "Still, we have such fun together in reminiscence, in pain and despair, in beautiful tragedy; and ultimately, we ended up signing a dark contract together, ah ha ha..."

My priest, Thomas Benedicta relaxing at St Capitolina Abbey, monastery for Monks, with a ghost of his past. He has been grieving Casey's death for many years and is still struggling with survivor's guilt. He decides to relax here only because an old acquaintance, Sister Cessna said this place helped to alleviate her sorrows.
(Trivia: This place will no longer exist in 300 years to come, when Ragnarök happens.)

My Ragnarök Online character, Mef the Shadow Chaser/SC (rogue class).
Unknowingly drew the pose to be 99% like [the ref image], only reversed. x'D
(You can also read about SCs there, first paragraph. They are, in short, warrior artists... or con artists... hahah...)

As the title says, this is Mef in the default Shadow Chaser uniform of the game. Mef doesn't like it because of no shirt and he doesn't even carry THAT many daggers. Besides, it lacked his colour theme: red! He also loves the floofy cape, makes him feel safe. And those are Li'l Row button pins, hahaha. The actual design is a horned smiley, but I changed that for more Mef-ness. And I also left his chains at black for visibility purposes.

✨ :: 47-49 [RO] Bless the Dark Ones ::

My Ragnarök Online/iRO character, Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop (priest/cleric). He does exorcism... and even had one done onto him. :')

And yes, he blesses the demons, undeads, and ghosties. Blessing them reduces their formidability. He also likes to slow down their movements sometimes, reduce their defence against holy elements even more, or use a double-damage skill on them... Most priests won't waste their time on this petty moves, going straight for the kill. So, it might just be that Thomas likes to toy with his foes before exorcising them. Huh, never knew he was sadistic. x'D "I'm not sadistic," Thomas objects. "I am just playful when we're one-on-one, ah ha ha..." ┑(￣▽￣)┍

My dA friend mentioned Spirou when I was chatting with him and it brought back memories. So, I wanted to try draw in a Spirou-esque style. Apparently, I failed; but I decided to just mix in my usual style and keep this. It kinda reminds me of my Picayune, haha. I also realised that I changed the way I drew nose over the years. The Thomas drawing above is my originally-intended style. Rounded, not pointed.

My old OCs (as in created for a long time already). From left: Priscilla, Clara Alexandra, Marinette Lochlann, Dandelia Andrews, and Starr.

Background is [2D cartoon city street vector] by Yuliya Pauliukevich. I only added the lower half to fill in the rest of the blank space.

I really wanted to draw so much but was out of ideas; and then I decided to draw my old OCs. They were originally in a medieval fantasy setting (the overpopular setting, lol); but I also had them in an AU set in present time... and that time was 1999.

Priscilla is a fashion model, graceful like an angel; Clara is a rollerskating tough cookie; Marinette was her rebellious bestie who could sing; Dandelia was a fan of mystical things and loved to swim; and Starr is just a free spirit.

Done for a spontaneous art trade with @/PeachyProtist on dA, of their OC Anja! Anja is an Imperial Elite Knight (the only female), and she is one tough bunny. She is also an ISFJ like me! xD

This IEK uniform looks simple, but somehow it was quite challenging for me to draw! Still, it's always worth it, hahaha. Previously I drew my OC in Protistum's special unit uniform, the Onyx. So, I thought, "Ha, if I can draw that, I can draw this too." I think Onyx is easier for me, hahaha...

This is Kit Cyril and that's his office. He is important. His birthday was on 15th Oct, but I am late... :<

Cyril was known for being the exiled Silveryan who clawed his way up into becoming a wealthy, classy man in Sigma with a taste for nothing lesser than the best... though he does have a liking for toffees and soda. He became CEO of the leading pharmaceutical company, Neo-Pharma and sponsored major projects that the Megacorporation worked on, led by Prof. 'Sage Williams'. During the last years of his life, he helped Vic adjust himself to Sigma (and this kind of hospitality is extremely rare in Sigma).

Although reluctant, the Government of Sigma declares Kit Cyril as part of the realm's history, having contributed to the realm in significant ways. Without Cyril, Sigma would not have a portal machine, an inter-realm transit, and a Reprogram machine (which had helped optimise the human capital).

Hey, everyone! It's been a while, hasn't it! Well, for me it felt like ages... Here's a Ragnarök Online fan art of my characters from my comic, 'Chasing Thomas Benedicta'. They're pretty much like my own OCs now to be honest, hahaha. The beauty of RPG characters, hehehe~

These are just some ideas of what their lives might be like, maybe after a year later or so.

Here you can see (from top-left):
- Mef reading a book (with pictures, ofc!) while a drunk Thomas comes by.
- Mef being teased by Rando as usual.
- Mef and pet, Li'l Row getting some sun after some trades with merchants there.
- Thomas and pet, Whispersio attending talks in Rachel temple to learn more on the goddess Freyja since he's switching to worshipping her than Odin.
- Kei holding his wife, Molly and his new kid so very dearly.
- Mef back then when he first learns how to sharpen his daggers.

This picture is originally a collection of sketches, me purging the trash art to make way for a worthy one. Unfortunately, it's not happening; and I do wanna make OC art, but my brain is dead when it comes to my own OCs. T_T I'm tryin'a get inspired but failing. :') So I figured I'd still upload whatever sketches I have, and this is it.

This is for an art trade. Since I'm done with Art Fight, I figured I'd do a normal trade instead.

This is my part for Classoo (dA) of their character, Sabrina with a cat spirit who helps her, named Munin. Sabrina can see ghosts. And we also have there a bit of Claudia, a half-vampire bounty huntress. Due to things, Sabrina's name has wound up in the Wanted list, so Claudia takes up the hunt. After some wild goose chase, Sabrina here is seen hiding, hoping to have shaken off the bounty hunter; but Claudia, being half-vampire, has some extra skills that helps her track down her prey.

Sabrina thinks the coast is clear but watch out! Claudia is there behind you!

Meet the Count of the Forbidden City; and according to Jayden, this man was Vic's biological father. If you confused him with Vic, it's perfectly fine because even Vic thought it was himself when he had accidentally ventured into the Forbidden City and saw the Count's portrait (which is supposed to look like this drawing, only more regal). x'D

My OCs, Rosa and Manel. Inspired by dA's Daily Challenge for 10th June, #pinkandgreen but obviously, I am late. x'D And I wish I had the willpower to add more details but aaaaaaa I even forgot Rosa's little witch hat x'DDD

Rosa is trying to improve her potions, but she needs to make sure these potions will not end up being poisonous or toxic. She calls forth Manel who is a Místic to test out her improved formulae. Místics are immune to poison and the worst they could get from ingesting a lethal dose of poison is a fever and/or severe diarrhea... fainting is possible but ehh... point is, they won't die.

"So OK, I got here some samples," says Rosa. "C'mon, sit down. I have only, like, three to four types of potion for you to drink."
"But Rosa..." says Manel as he sits at the table. "...this is a bit too much for me to test in one go...?"
"It's OK, you can stay the night if you faint."
"I won't faint." Manel then stares at the potion bottles. "Don't you have them in cups?"
"Oh, I am also testing the bottle design. I redesigned them a bit."
"Right... Uhm... none of them will turn me into a spider or some other thing, right?" Manel asks nervously.
Rosa frowns. "What? Of course not!" she says. "Transformation potions don't exist, silly. Drink up~"

My OC, Adrià from my story, 'The Principality'; sometimes nicknamed Adrià de la Naturalesa.

Adrià does a (Tarot) reading before starting his day, with a bad habit of pulling out clarification cards. Somewhere along the way, however, Adrià was given visions of a possible future, should nothing in the present change.

Someone is going to die. A dear family to some, and an important figure to the realm. He bears in mind what his insights showed him, a foreboding turn of events in the near future -- doubtful if he can change anything, or if he is even meant to.

Of course, my art does not do this runway-worthy uniform any justice. I just thought it'd be funny to have Byronix in the Onyx. After all, his anthro name is 'Black Onyx'. xD Vic calls him Bunnix, but that's fine because Onyx Bunnix still rhymes nicely.

I rarely draw Byronix (or anthros even), so his appearance vary from drawing to drawing.
