Today June 10th harvest from the balcony.

I lost about 7-8 of them falling off the balcony, I think my first floor neighbor will have a lot of surprised cherry tomato plants later this year or next year.

I have now over 10 tomato plants to give away. Plus the 6 that are new and starting to bloom and produce, these #tomatoes are from plants I started in 2022.

My 2 fully grown garlic I got fromy last year planting

I bought one purple garlic from the farmers market last year and planted all 12 clove of it in soil and hydroponic. Most of those in hydroponics gave me a lot of chives I used on the past few months but most of them didn't produce any garlic.

Yesterday, I was cleaning up the planters outside and found these 2. One is almost a fully grown garlic, perfect to be used as seeds for the next season.

I still have 4 more in soil and w in hydroponics to provide me with fresh chives.

I planted this cherry #tomato from seeds when I returned to South of France 2 years ago. It has been producing tomatoes since then and now it has massive bunches of flowers growing on it.

Have never seen anything like this before. It's like 15-20 flowers and tomatoes on one single branch and have about 10 of them on each plant (3 total). these are the ones I planted directly in the 50L soil bags I bought from the store.

Planting an overgrown onion in a pot outside gave me 3 harvest of onion leaves and now it's blooming and I will have lots of onion seeds.

It's amazing how much one single #onion produced. Used the leaves in 2 soups and one stew and have 5 or 6 more thick leaves to harvest too. The ROI was lmore than 10x the amount I spent on one onion.

I'm officially declaring the experiment of regrowing store bought celery a success.

I put the plant with a few healthy roots into one of the holes of the Hydroponic Dutch bucket and it seems to be growing even faster and hopefully in a month, when I'm planning to make Celery stew, it will be large enough to harvest.

Made a short TikTok video about my little project:

The little set-up of IKEA Växer Hydroponic by the balcony door is giving me new produce almost daily.

Have cut back about half of the plants due to aphids attack and soil gnats like bugs growing in the substrate of the mesh cups.

But the 2 tomato plants on the top unit are not only keep growing, but they are giving me tiny juicy cherry tomatoes all the time.

Decided to add some threads to help them stand up so they get more lights and make it more visible.

Already moved one out to a 20L #Kratky on the balcony, I may move one of these out as they are getting too big for indoor.

My first Hydroponic weed.

I planted some beef steaks tomatoes in Kratky earlier this year but the plant didn't grow well and died after giving me just 2 tomatoes.

I left the unit out and saw some weed growing on it and didn't mind having some greens on the balcony rather than bare concrete walls.

Today i saw that the water has all but gone and lifted up the plants. It has some pretty impressive roots developed and I might keep it on the side just for fun. It doesn't hurt to have it and it's going to help cool down the balcony when the summer comes.
