My spinach seedlings are doing well, except for the side where the bloody pigeon was using as her dirt bath.

I have more than I need, but still mad at her. She is so bold that it just walked towards me while I was cleaning up the planters on the balcony, no fear at all. I wouldn't mind having her around if it wasn't for her destructive habits.

Anyway, going to put the spinache in individual containers getting ready for spring time planting them outside.

Was planning to use half of them for hydroponics, but I'm not sure because we are moving forward selling our apartment and moving them around will be a drag.

### Today's #parsley harvest From the indoor hydroponic system located by the balcony door.

It was getting too much so I decided to cut it off and will dry them inside the oven later

This is the 3rd harvest and the largest one so far I'm hoping that they keep giving me this much parsley every few weeks from now on so I can enjoy having fresh parsley and home dried, chemical free ones when needed.

Preparing for quick compost!

I know it doesn't look good but it's like magic for tomatoes and peppers.

I used to make this mix of bandana peels, tea leaves (used), potato peels, some orange peels and baking soda.

I put it into my quick mixer with some water and mix it to a moosh. I then mix it with some old soil from last and put it in a 1tL paint bucket, i add a layer of old soil over it (same amount as the mixed quantity).
I keep doing this until the pot is full then leave it on the balcony to compost.

By end of February or early March it will be ready to be used.

I use 1 dL of this mix 1dL of old plant soil. Mix them well and use it as the maine soil for tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables that I grow in containers and sacks.

It's a great way of quick #composting and cutting the amount of #garbage I produce.

One of the strawberries outside had a runner and I brought it in to see if I can grow it on IKEA Växer Hydroponic instead.

Put it in last week and I was afraid it wasn't doing so good, but adding more nutrients to the reservoir and a few days of sunshine seems to be doing magic and this little guy is coming back to life.

I'm hoping to have enough runners to setup a little strawberry tower outside this summer.

Dried some parsley while helping my daughter pick up her classes to study in Sweden next fall.

She is so excited and nervous and been online for almost 3h to go over every education in t different cities in Sweden.

The parsley is already put into the container and ready to be used.z

Amazing how different the color of my own dried ones are from those commercial ones.

I think I'm going to sell my plant.

I bought it for 1 euro about 8 years ago at Ikea when I was in Paris.

It was growing in a 2L self watering planter for a few years before I moved it to a 5L one and last year moved it into a 12L pot on the balcony.

It has grown to over 1.5m tall and needs a new larger pot (that I don't have).

Aa much as I love it, I think it is time to say good bye to it.

Don't know how much I can get for it.

I planted these spring onions as companion plants for my strawberries last summer.

I wasn't expecting them to grow big, just to deter the bugs from my strawberries on the balcony. It worked and I didn't have any problems with bugs on any of the pots with strawberries (despite huge problems with other plants and bugs).

Some 7 months later, the strawberries are all in winter mode and these onions are getting really big. I have already picked a few of them from the pots and used them in cooking or frozen some as they get too big for the small planters on the balcony.

These 2 are going to be used in a spring onion soup and the rest will be frozen for future use.

Thanks to the tip someone gave me last spring, I have been self sufficient when it comes to these and don't think I will ever buy them from the shops again.
