Sorry not a very good picture, but I think I have managed to cross pollinate my Habanero and Serrano peppers.
I have a hydroponic set-up in the dining room by the window since 2021, it is pretty big with 3 peppers and one flower plants.
The only problem os that is have to hand pollinate it.
I usually use a dedicated qtils for each plant, but I think I used one on the #habanero plant on the #balcony and suddenly I have a habanero looking pepper on my indoor #Serranoe hydroponic pepper plant.
It will be interesting to see how it grows and how spicy ot will get.

Totally failed in fermenting my #jalapeno peppers.
The cover wasn't airtight and I didn't check it out as I usually do and the whole top of the jar was 2cm mold or whatever that is.
Freezing the rest of my #peppers for now and will wait until I move to my next place to try #fermentation again.

I have so much jalapenos, don't know what to do with them
I love growing #peppers, but don't eat them much. My #jalapeno peppers is thriving since I replanted it into a 10L soil bag with fresh fertilizer. I have already picked some 10-12 of them already and have twice as many on this plant.
Have to learn how to pickle/ferment them.

Was asked by a friend to prepare 10-15 chili pepper plants for a dutch bucket hydroponics to use in his small restaurant.
Going to start some 20+ seedlings and see how many of them survive.
I wanted to grow 3 different types of #peppers instead of just one. But I do what he asked.

Didn't know I had a pepper growing there.
It's from the seeds of peppers I bought in little Africa back in Paris before I moved. Didn't remember it I saved the seeds.
These are delicious and spicy peppers and great for African dishes.

Tonight's harvest from the balcony and indoor hydroponic
Went out to clean up the balcony and found that the yellow cherry tomato plant from last year is still full of flowers and had a lot of #tomatoes on the branches and some on the ground.
Picked a few #peppers from the indoor hydroponic as well because it's time to trim it a bit because it's getting too big for the little space I have.
I will see if I can propagate the plant and make a few extra plants out of it.

They are really delicious (had one with lunch). Removing the flesh inside and the seeds, makes it easier to eat raw with sandwich.

My 2x12L dutch bucket hydroponic units I setup using wood from a pallet and 10W LED lights from #IKEA #Växer have helped multiple plants growing extremely well.
2 pepper plants and couple of flower plants growing in a unit with 10L water reservoir and water pump that is active 3x20 minutes per day.
Had to hand pollinate the #peppers and saw a few growing in the back, one ready to pickup. And of course lots and lots of flowers. Time to hand pollinate a few more.
This is my second most successful hydroponic project.

Have a problem and a dilemma.
This is my Kratky Hydroponic pepper plants.
It has been growing so well in the past 6 weeks and has plenty of peppers and flowers.
But, the problem is that the 5L container is almost empty and I had problem with refilling #Kratky units before and really really don't want to harm this beautiful plant.
I was thinking about moving it into a 20L bucket, and trim the roots before putting it into althe 2/3rd filled bucket. But I don't want to show k it either.
The other problem is that it's covered with #aphids. Forgot to spray it with soapy water in the past few days and it's now have 1000 of those little buggers sucking the juice out of my lovely plant.
I have to make the decision today.

Job done, replanted the #jalapeno #peppers and trimmed it to bare minimum, it has lots of #aphids on it so washed it off and covered the soil with piece of the broken terracotta pot to prevent the bloody pigeon to try and dig into the dirt.
I am hoping that it will come back bigger and better in a few weeks.

time to move the Dutch Bucket unit out on the balcony.
2 tomatoes doing really good, 3 died, one replaced with TinyTim and the other one is still open.
The peppers seem to be doing pretty well but very different; one is long and growing well the other one is just bushy.
The spring onions I put there just or test have not grownemuch so I may replace them with different peppers.
Have a 40L storage ready for them and to place them out on the balcony where the cucumber plant is right now.
Have to plan well because it will be hard to replocate afterwards and must make sure they are protected from scorching sun of coming aummer.
