I love my indoor hydroponic.

I just found out that it's not a cross pollination, but a different plant growing on the side of the #Serrano #pepper.

I believe it's from the seeds of peppers I bought at little Africa in #Paris many years ago. It's probably some kind of #habanero, but I'm not sure what.

I am worried it's going to be really hard to move them when I finally manage to buy a little house!

bloody hell my plant was devoured by these bastards inna day or 2 not watching it.

I have only a handful of plants I use for my home cooking. Usually look them up to make sure they are okay, but neglected them for a few days and came up to an empty branch where all the greens were eaten by 100s of these little guys.

Pulled yurm and going to move them to the big grass areas by the park. But I'm sure they don't like grass and will not survive thery.

It was time to change my indoor hydroponic a little. It was getting too big and with the girls coming to visit, it was time to lift up the light a little.

Used a small pallet and wood from a full size one to build a small table plus 2 Pilar's to hold the light up.

Right now the light is just sitting there, but have to find a way to secure it.

I have 3 pepper plants abs one flower plant in 2 dutch buckets there connected to an analog timer to circulate the water 3 times per day.

Trying a simple abd lazy compost solution..

Had a 1m pipe I was planning to use for hydroponics that I gave up and decided to try a lazy man's compost solution.

Made a lot of holes in the first 20cm of it and pushed it into a pot I used to have a tomato plant in. Placed some mints around it and put a small pot on top to work as the cover.

Whenever I have some #vegetables left over, I put them in the pipe and I'm expecting to have good compost in it by the summer as the worms in the pot can go in an out of the holes, eating the vegetable and turn it to fertilizer.

At the same time, I am going to have unlimited minteto have for tea or salad.
I may cover and paint the pipe, or emayeb cover ot with some wood I saved from orange boxes.

Sorry not a very good picture, but I think I have managed to cross pollinate my Habanero and Serrano peppers.

I have a hydroponic set-up in the dining room by the window since 2021, it is pretty big with 3 peppers and one flower plants.

The only problem os that is have to hand pollinate it.

I usually use a dedicated qtils for each plant, but I think I used one on the #habanero plant on the #balcony and suddenly I have a habanero looking pepper on my indoor #Serranoe hydroponic pepper plant.

It will be interesting to see how it grows and how spicy ot will get.

This is a plant that started a couple of month ago after the other cucumber plant died. I'm not sure if it's the same plant or the second seed I planted in there.

But it's getting bigger every day, now it is over 2m tall and has lots of flowers. And to my surprise, quiet a few cucumbers as well.

I just hope it stays alive and produces until my kids come for the visit during the holidays.

Found an uninvited guest on my Iranian basil plant. Have to look for others because it's my only surviving plants from the summer

(It's called Reyhan, ریحان it's a special, very aromatic type of basil used in west Asia, mostly with Kebab). It als can be used as easing the itchiness of mosquito bites.
