The Mandalorian SPOILERS

IS IT A TRAP?

I'm worried about Bo-Katan. What if the A and B plots are actually related? What if the A plot is foreshadowing? What if The Armorer has bad intentions for Bo-Katan, the same way Kane had bad intentions for Dr. Pershing?

Obviously, "The Convert" refers to both Dr. Pershing and Bo-Katan. And both of them were isolated, alone, and suffering from a sort of existential crisis shock.

Dr. Pershing was reluctant to join up with Kane at first, but he soon went along with it. But Kane was never sincere. It was always a cruel trap. Note that we didn't get the name "Elia Kane" until just before we see the betrayal. We still don't have a proper name for The Armorer.

Bo-Katan was reluctant to join The Children of the Watch. She first tried to rules lawyer her way out of it, saying she doesn't live by The Way. But The Armorer insists, and Bo-Katan silently accepts after reading the room.

But maybe it's a trap?

Kane had a deep grudge against Dr. Pershing, and exacted cruel evil revenge - presumably out of her continued fanatical loyalty to Moff Gideon.

What if The Armorer has a similar deep grudge against Bo-Katan? What if she's had it in for Bo-Katan ever since she switched sides against Darth Maul?

I am worried. Watch out, it's a trap!

Bo-Katan: "You're riding a Rancor?"

Boba Fett: "Baby rancor."

Bo: "That's a baby?"

Boba: "Yes. I was the first being it saw, so it bonded with me as its parent. Only I can ride it."

Bo: "... huh ..."

Boba: "You weren't the first being a baby Rancor saw, were you?"

Bo: "... uhh ... no, definitely not a baby Rancor ..."
