Hey everyone, how have you all been? It's been a while.

Let me know how you guys are, but I also come with a serious question that may come as a surprise seeing that most people over here have known me as the writer guy for the past several years.

Something a lot of people don't know about me is that I'm actually big into gaming. I have some friends who do game dev and I love classic retro stuff. Over the past few months I've been streaming on Twitch and growing very fast. I actually never realized how quickly I would be able to grow on there doing gaming content, despite being a writer for so long. Maybe I was just at the right place at the right time?

Anyway, I've used Diaspora for several years posting my articles and I know that some people on here are in to gaming. Do you guys think it would be worthwhile to create a separate gaming channel for updates on my streams/videos? I honestly don't know of any streamers who use Diaspora, but I do know a few who've tried Gab and almost all of them have eventually left because of a lack of activity. There is a dedicated gaming community on Minds and I know pretty much everyone there.

I'm interested in expanding my presence to more platforms and provide lesser-known websites like Diaspora with gaming content, as well as connect with more awesome people, but I just don't want to put daily effort into something that nobody is interested in. Do you guys think using Diaspora for gaming is worthwhile? Thoughts?

#Money -laundering on #Twitch triggers call for #investigation from Turkish politician

It's a simple, straightforward #system, and so was the scam. #Thieves would use stolen #credit cards to purchase and donate large amounts of Bits to willing #streamers, who would then refund the bulk of the #donations into different accounts, keeping a small cut—reportedly 20-30%—for their trouble. Sounds like money #laundering 101, and it was apparently not a great secret.

#Pokimane Has Done Enough — and Has So Much Left to Do

#Anys, 25, is uniquely good at being a #Twitch star. So good, in fact, that her followers—8 million as of July 2021—have a #meme about it: She is not a doe-eyed #gamer #girl but instead “Twitch #AI,” designed from birth to succeed on the #game - #streaming #platform with machine-like efficiency. Pokimane’s persona is so polished, and Anys’ success so complete, that this origin #story does feel almost plausible.

After Twitch's complete data leak that I didn't hear about from #Twitch themselves, I realized I didn't have explicit two-factor authentication set. When I set about to do that, I remembered why: the process requires to submit your phone number and email address to a 3rd party.🤬
