Why isn't #Twitter (X) dead yet? #ElonMusk has done everything he can to bury the #platform, hasn't he?
In my opinion, it's the journalists who are treated like dirt (💩) by #Musk but just can't let go of the platform.
That's partly because they prefer to make headlines with #clickbait and scandals and still link diligently on Twitter. In this way, they give the platform relevance in the media and make Musk's rants seem like important discourse. On the other hand, it is because the average journalist is apparently too incompetent to discover new platforms for himself.
I'm probably doing an injustice to the little journalist who is just trying to make ends meet somehow. But it's amazing that the big publishers are so inflexible or have made themselves so dependent on Twitter that they can't or won't switch.

Das Youtube nicht mehr so toll ist und ohne Werbefilter kaum noch zu ertragen, ist mir ebenfalls aufgefallen. Nur die goldenen Zeiten habe ich wohl verpasst. Man kann jede Plattform im Internet auch missbrauchen. Da haben die ja was sensationell Neues herausgefunden und dann auch noch konsequent am eigentlichen Problem vorbei berichtet. Ich hasse solche Journalisten die zu faul zum recherchieren sind und keine Beziehungen zu anderen aktuellen Themen herstellen können. Ich frage mich echt wo das Geld abbleibt im ÖR weil in die Redaktion fließt es anscheinend nicht wenn solche Artikel dabei rauskommen.
#Fediverse, #Mastodon und die Verbindung zu PeerTube scheint denen völlig unbekannt zu sein obwohl #Twitter gerade groß in der Journalistenbubble trendet. Dass im Fediverse moderiert wird kann man leicht herausfinden und auch dass es dort bereits Rechte-Echokammern gibt die großflächig geblockt werden von den meisten Servern.
Das eigentliche Problem ist doch, dass der Staat glaubt mit Regulierung irgendwas regeln zu können. Klar wandern die Schwubler dann nach Telegram ab und der Staat wundert sich dann, dass er seine Anzeigen nicht mehr zustellen kann. Merkwürdiger Weise hat Telegram gar kein Büro in Deutschland wie Facebook. Fragt man sich doch warum nicht?
