A few days ago, or rather a few nights ago, while I was sleeping with my window open to the sky, or rather not sleeping, I saw a meteorite in the sky, like a small pea of light that descended and then vanished.

Blossoming Chestnut Branches was painted by Vincent van Gogh during the artist's Auvers-sur-Oise period in May 1890, the final year of his life.
- The painting was one of four missing after a high-profile theft from the Foundation E.G. Bührle gallery in Zürich on February 10, 2008. The work was found nine days later in a parked automobile in Zürich, along with one of the other stolen paintings, and was returned undamaged to the gallery.

The Red Vineyards near Arles, France is an oil painting by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, executed on a privately primed Toile de 30 piece of burlap in 1888. It depicts workers in a vineyard, and it is the only painting known by name that Van Gogh sold in his lifetime.

Van Gogh uniquely captured the mellowed tones and glistening light of the evening sun reflecting in the river and the autumn field.
He had returned home after seeing the scene and painted it from memory.
