Julian Schnabel is a painter and filmmaker. Since the 1980s, his work has been exhibited and collected by institutions all over the world. At the musée d’Orsay, he conceived the project “Orsay seen by Julian Schnabel” (2018-2019). He is the author of six feature films, from Basquiat (1996) to At Eternity’s Gate (2018), which focuses on Vincent Van Gogh’s life in painting.
