#waterfall
Frozen waterfall in Khorasan province of Iran.
The whole region is suffering a terrible winter and many schools and universities are closed because of funding problems to buy fuel to heat the rooms.
With inflation close to 90% and economy suffering from corruption and US sanctions, the people are the ones who suffer the most, while government officials enjoying the extra flow of cash from their "smuggling" and the new trades with Russia and China.

Enjoying nature trails on the mountain bike yesterday. All the MTB trails are muddy and snowy so I hit the gravel. Using the Maxxis DHF downhill tires made for heavy drag, worth it!

Random holiday photo. As if by accident, the trail between the trees and stones leads you to this secluded, noisy-quiet spot. Bonus points: you can walk between the rocks and the lose curtain of falling water if you have something to shield yourself or tolerate getting wet.
(Not shown: all the other tourists who crowd the same small-ish space at the shore.)
