Yew Tree
Here's one for @YA and anyone who loves yew trees. This is how my lovely yew tree looks today, covered with new growth shining bright green over the dark needles of previous years. I love this tree the most in my garden ... in my life. I grew it from a seed I collected and prepared, planted in its own little pot and nurtured. It's maybe thirteen years old now or even fourteen - I don't keep records, it's my legacy for all who enjoy looking at it.
I hope you like it too.
I planted this Yew when it was only 10cm / 3.94in; now it is more then 2,5m /100 inches tall

It snowed the whole night, even if only slightly. I got up at 5:40am to shovel so I could get to my firewood
had to get up at 5:20a as I had to put up to the street the compost and ash bin, saw heavy snow fall... took me some time for shovelling as the branches of my two Yew trees were hanging down to the ground by the weight of the wet snow, that blocked my whole entrance...
