#Verdammt, mein Rechner ist abgekackt ...
Werde mir wohl einen Neuen besorgen müssen!
Hatte bis jetzt einen etwas älteren Laptp von #Lenovo, ein #ThinkPad-P50, Wirklich ein tolles Gerät, war sehr zufrieden! Werde mir wohl wieder ein #ThinkPad besorgen.
Na ja, jetzt ist er wohl Geschichte, schnüff :((
Falls also jemand ein solches Gerät (ein ThinkPad meine ich) besitzt, welches er, oder sie, mir zum Kauf anbieten könnte, wäre ich wirklich erfreut :)
Lasse mal ein paar #Tags hier die eventuell helfen könnten; #Frage, #Rechner #ThinkPad, #Hilfe, #Kaufgesuch ... eventuell hat ja jemand eine #Idee ;)
P.S.: Habe schon versucht die Festplatten zu formatieren, und mein bevorzugtes #Betriebssystem, #LMDE zu installieren, kein Erfolg ... er will einfach nicht mehr booten ...
Vom USB-Stick zu stearten funktioniert, und bei Betribssytemen die man installieren möchte, läuft die Installationsroutine auch durch, aber der Rechner will einfach nicht mehr booten. Bin etwas ratlos ...
Momentan hab ich meinen Stick mit T.A.I.L.S. draufgesteckt, so kann ich zumindest in's Netz ;)) #TAILS
Work laptop is now 3 years old, a #Lenovo T14, I'd call it new, but it has to be replaced because the leasing runs out soon. So I rarely use this laptop, I have another real work computer (programming and stuff) that is owned by the department, but not leased, a P14+ or so.
The T14 will be exchanged for some Lenovo again, not sure which model, but I selected 13.3" screen. Because I want a lighter device.
I am now looking forward to see if the new Windows laptop I get also discharges (I think it periodically switches on and then off again or actually some other MS shit) or if the battery is not empty after a week in the desk.

Was legt ihr denn beim #Lenovo #ThinkPad zwischen Tastatur und Bildschirm wenn ihr es zusammen klappt? Überlege eine Folie zu verwenden, vielleicht aus einer Klarsichthülle geschnitten.
Problem ist, dass die Tastatur im Rucksack irgendwie auf Dauer immer auf den Bildschirm drückt, nur ganz leicht, aber die drückt drauf, habe dadurch immer leichte Schmutzabdrücke auf der Sichtschutzfolie und auf Dauer geht die Folie auch kaputt, jetzt nach ca. 1 1/2 Jahren musste eine neue Folie her.
Jetzt frage ich mich, ob es gut wäre irgendetwas zwischen zu legen was einfach und schnell ersetzt werden kann, bspw. eben eine andere weiche Folie.

they are fast, they are small, they use very little energy (less than 30W), the Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p despite being also pretty old (2012) it still rocks, the naming ain’t sexy, but they work very well.

in order to fix this
windows 10 (yes argh) needs to be installed & BIOS update applied:
Intel ME almost no BIOS without it… with t440 it was able to “disable it permanently”

- start setup 9sjy9cusa.exe
- make new shortcut on desktop “cmd”
- r-click -> run it as Administrator
- cd into the folder where 9sjy9cusa.exe installed
- run flash.cmd

- Ctrl+Alt+Del…
- it should reboot fine
- re-apply all bios settings
so updated from BIOS 2012 to 2018 version and now proxmox boots up fine.

High‑impact UEFI vulnerabilities discovered (again) in over a hundred of models of Lenovo consumer laptops
Yes, two of the drivers immediately caught attention by their very unfortunate (but surprisingly honest) names: SecureBackDoor and SecureBackDoorPeim. I also seem to recall Lenovo had a similar issue about 5 or 6 years ago, so not a first time.
Altogether, the list of affected devices contains more than one hundred different consumer laptop models with millions of users worldwide, from affordable models like Ideapad-3 to more advanced ones like Legion 5 Pro-16ACH6 H or Yoga Slim 9-14ITL05. The full list of affected models with active development support is published in the Lenovo Advisory.
Bottom line though is, if you have a consumer Lenovo device, you really want to check if there is a firmware update.
