#SocialHome has been kind of weird for lately. I've had an account there for a while, and I liked posting my drawing there, but recently I have not been able to see my own profile. Each time I log on, it just says that an error has occurred, and shows a blank page. The content I post is still there, but I can't access it without searching through the Local stream. Odd.

It may be a good time to go and try out #PixelFed as another #FediVerse art dump site. I've mainly stuck around on #Diaspora, and occasionally poked my head in to #Mastodon. I'd really like to put more of myself out on the internet, if only because I've managed to make myself a hermit both online and real life. :P

Spent much of today asleep. It's not the most glamorous way to bring in the new year, but it was surely necessary.

I hear a lot of people talking up working hard constantly, and I honestly don't disagree that working for the life you live is a good thing. But I also think people in America play working up way beyond it station, as well as seeming to value the misery certain jobs induce rather as if being miserable on its own is some kind of virtue. I guess learning the limits of work is something I learned while being unemployed during the Pandemic. The previous job I had practically burnt me to nothing, and made me incapable of functioning outside of work. I don't want to have a repeat of that this time around.
