I am so fucked up about nowadays #IT ... #nerds ... #linux ... #fairphone
got a pc with #ubuntu-mate ... no way to find drivers for my printer for over 2 years
#ubuntu does not recognize my mobile neither - be it mate or another version
#fairphone not able to upload simply by my mail-site some docs, fotos whatsoever
microphone does not work, 10 different pdf readers via #f-droid do not work
connectiong from the mobile to the pcs transfering fotos from the #camera do not work
(debugging the usb ... nill)
at the #office we are using MSWord like a typewriting machine in the 70s ... tabs ? ... what for...
we use „space“... serial letters ? no idea how that works....
30 years or more we had these ... in German called „Textbausteine“ ... then that got another name and again .... „autotext“ ... no idea how it is called now... we type it in manually or are happy to copy and paste from somewher else
our #SAP - 30 years ago it even made fun in book-keeping dept.... when something had to be updated they programed via #ABAP a job to make it happen
NOW we have to change /update pricing in hundreds - no: thousands of orders MANUALLY
#MS-Office... inintelligible..... #Openoffice as an alternative ? ever tried to understand the help docs ? LOOOOOL
LIFE is not spending the whole time trying to find out the simplest task for a program which just should be running and making life EASIER
instead these autists are sitting in their little rooms developing their gorgeous single-minded #project results just fixated on one tine issue without ever taking into account the whole of the story
a nightmare............

Ihre Rechner laufen seit 5 Jahren problemlos mit einem #Mint, #updates machen sie selber, alle halbe Jahre, wenn ich vorbeigeschneit komme, schau ich mal nach den Teilen und mein #Papa hat voller #Stolz den #Drucker installiert, ohne mich zu fragen.
Alles ohne #Viren , #Updatestress, fehlender #Treiber usw usf
Und #Nein, sie haben so etwas nicht gelernt, sie wissen nicht einmal, was der Unterschied zwischen #Windows und #Linux ist.
Es muss laufen und funktionieren, um z.B. mit den #Enkeln in #Kontakt zu bleiben, und mehr nicht!
