This is a #demo of the #new #piano that was #developed for the Yamaha SY99.The Franken Grand was created by using the #best #samples from several #pianos, including samples of a #Bösendorfer #Imperial. The samples really captures the warmth and weight of a large #piano. #AFM made it possible to create a stereo image with mono samples. The #bank uses over 900 kb so it requires that the #flash #RAM of the SY99 be expanded. #Memory #boards for the SY99 can be purchased from #Sector101. This piano could also be used with the Sector101 #WaveBlade on a SY77.

Hi...another video of my #WORK #DISK with Bank C and D sounds completed.

REMARK - unfinished (base) sounds ARE in Bank A and B. These sound are ...If I do not have anything specyfic in my mind I play with OSC changing their pitch, #waveform and volume.
Then I go throungh all #algorytms and try to catch some sounds or a part of it...maybe only 2 or 3 oscylators produce great sound which is worth to spend time on.
Next time maybe all will sound great...your decision :)
Then you have so many other options like add other #OSC, #envelopes, #effects, #AWM - I have a great fun :)

REMARK - for those who asked me what was the difference between SY77 and SY99 I placed short comparison at the end of the video.
I loaded sounds from SY77 into SY99 without any modifications. You can now see that SY99 has different set up of EFFECTS and AFTERTOUCH.
Sounds on SY99 may be more expresive / rich. Especially REVERB & DELAY effect is much better if adjusted well.

Dom Sigalas se penche sur le synthétiseur Yamaha SY99.
Ce modèle était le #synthétiseur phare de la série SY et est sorti en 1991. Il combinait des sons #FM avancés (#AFM) et des sons basés sur des #échantillons ( #AWM2) avec des processeurs d'effets doubles et la prise en charge de la multitimbralité en 16 parties. Une caractéristique unique était la convolution et la modulation en temps réel qui permettait d'alimenter des échantillons dans la section FM. Le SY99 permettait également d'importer des échantillons d'utilisateurs dans une mémoire #flash #ROM extensible.

#Projet de tables d'ondes pour les #synthétiseurs #Yamaha de la série SY.

J'ai comme projet de crée, dans un premier temps de nouvelles tables d'ondes (wavetable) pour les synthétiseurs Yamaha de la série SY et leur module respectif, #SY55 (TG55), #SY77(TG77), #SY85(TG500), #SY99 et #QY30(RM50) via des cartes WAVEFORM contenant les sons et DATA contentant les patches exploitant ces samples. Je m'appuie pour ça de la plateforme WAVEBLADE développée par SECTOR101.

Plateforme ou il manque un #logiciel pour mieux l'exploiter. Et je suis à la recherche de quelqu'un que se genre de projet intéresse, pour m'aider à développer se logiciel.
