It's called the " #Devil's #Interval In #Musicology" when you play #741Hz with #528hz.

THE #9 #SOLFEGGIO #FREQUENCIES AND THEIR BENEFITS

Albert #Einstein once said, " #everything in our #Universe is #vibration." The #atoms in our #bodies, the #molecules and atoms in inanimate objects, #thoughts and #sounds - all things in our Universe are in motion, vibrating . Even the planet itself vibrates and resonates at its own #frequency.

The #human #ear can only hear a limited range of #vibrations per second. In sound science, the number of vibrations per seconds is known as "frequency", which is measured in Hz.

The human ear is only capable of hearing sounds that vibrate at the frequency of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (20 kHz). #Dolphins and #bats are capable of #hearing #sound up to 100 kHz, so you can see #how limited the human capacity for hearing sounds is.

At the #heart of solfeggio frequencies is the belief that the vibrational signature of certain sounds, ranging from 174 Hz to 963 Hz, can positively impact our #mental, #physical and #spiritual #health.

Sonne - Regen - Sonne. (Dazu Zitronenkuchen. Schadet nie.)

War Games: The Sounds I Made For The Film - #AnthonyMarinelliMusic

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZBETbh0kaI

In this #video I breakdown the #FM #Synclavier #sounds/ #sequences I made for the 1983 #movie #WarGames

Anthony's #musical touch as both #composer and #performer is connected with some of the most influential creative minds over the last 40 years. He’s composed and conducted original orchestral scores for over 80 feature films including Young Guns, Internal Affairs, The Man From Elysian Fields, 15 Minutes and Planes, Trains & Automobiles, been commissioned by the Los Angeles Philharmonic for his symphonic work "In the Family Way", written over one thousand TV commercials in a myriad of musical styles, co-founded Levels Audio Post (LA's premiere post production facility) and performed and arranged on big-box-office films and influential hit records such as Michael Jackson's Thriller.

His extensive work as a young arranger, orchestrator and performer for Quincy Jones, Jack Nitzsche, Lamont Dozier, Arthur Rubenstein and Giorgio Moroder was vital in launching his own career. His early years pioneering modular analog synthesizers along with his wide-ranging music scholarship positioned Anthony at the center of the music technology revolution. He attended the University of Southern California School of Music as a piano and composition major.

All #sounds come from a single QM Caruso played live without additional effects and without any treatment - right from the stereo outputs. The general #sound has something magical to it imho. All sounds are #factory #presets, which I chosed as "the best" of this #instrument. Of course there are also a lot of #accordion and #organ sounds (the organs are not bad either, but not exactly my cup of tea). Some factory presets (mostly #pads) are surprisingly good and they don't hide the fact that the Caruso has limited D/A converters, which makes the sound "lo-fi" in general. It sounds quite nice - what do you think?

The Quasimidi Caruso is not very common outside #Germany, very cheap nowadays, it's a good choice if you like lofi digital #synth sounds from the early nineties! #synthétiseur

#Yamaha #SY77 / #SY99 #Free #Download #Sounds / #Patches from #Synthoxicated #Pafreak - WORK DISK 2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvXgZaNis70

Hi...another video of my #WORK #DISK with Bank C and D sounds completed.

REMARK - unfinished (base) sounds ARE in Bank A and B. These sound are ...If I do not have anything specyfic in my mind I play with OSC changing their pitch, #waveform and volume.
Then I go throungh all #algorytms and try to catch some sounds or a part of it...maybe only 2 or 3 oscylators produce great sound which is worth to spend time on.
Next time maybe all will sound great...your decision :)
Then you have so many other options like add other #OSC, #envelopes, #effects, #AWM - I have a great fun :)

REMARK - for those who asked me what was the difference between SY77 and SY99 I placed short comparison at the end of the video.
I loaded sounds from SY77 into SY99 without any modifications. You can now see that SY99 has different set up of EFFECTS and AFTERTOUCH.
Sounds on SY99 may be more expresive / rich. Especially REVERB & DELAY effect is much better if adjusted well.

Bank D - 1 brand new sound
Bank C - 11 brand new sounds

#Yamaha #DX7, #TX81z, #SY35 and #SY77: The #Ultimate #Review - #OffTheMatrix

top

This review compares the #sounds of a DX7, TX81z, SY35 and SY77 side by side. Over 20 years was spent creating the Off The Matrix #patches, so the review will reveal the true strengths of each of the #instruments. The first part will be a #demonstration the DX7, TX81z and SY77 playing the same patches. To my surprise the TX81z sounded better for a couple of the patches. The #video will cover the strengths of the TX81z and SY35 over the DX7. The video will end with demonstrations of the SY77 patches as well as the new SY99 samples. A #TQ5 was used to play the TX81z patches, so through much of the video the SY35 is playing the TX81z patches.

The Power Of #CS1x - Ep1 - #Airwolf, The #Terminator, Don't You Want Me, #KnightRider and Jump - #KOSmusic

top
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvClPvoxags

For many years my wife and I have wanted to create something dedicated exclusively to the #Yamaha CS1x #synthesizer. Finally, after so much work, we are very happy to present you this mini #series in which the #sounds of the CS1x will be the #protagonists.

Each episode will consist of 5 #famous #music presets that I created and performed on the CS1x.
The visual style and structure of these videos is inspired by early 90s learning video tapes.

The initial logo and the music, is a #tribute to one of the most important distributors of #VHS in those years in the #UnitedStates, the "Simitar Entertainment".

To make these videos useful even for those who just want to learn how to play some pieces of this music from the past with their own #keyboard/ #synth, I filmed the synthesizer from above in order to better understand the keys I press.

In this episode there is a brief description of the CS1x and a #demonstration of 5 presets:

• Airwolf Theme - by Sylvester Levay - (Lead)
• The Terminator - Main Title - by Brad Fiedel - (Lead)
• Don't You Want Me - by The Human League - (Brass Chords)
• Knight Rider Theme - by Stu Phillips and Glen A. Larson - (Lead)
• Jump - by Van Halen - (Lead)

For the first time the videos where I play are live (improvised without a metronome). The sound you hear is pure CS1x, with no external effects.

All the #presets you heard in this episode are #available in #SysEx format on my #website: https://kosmusicovers.altervista.org/cs1x-presets/

Prior to 1986, Susumu Ohno had already led an interesting career as a geneticist, highlighted by his theory on the mechanism governing the increase in #gene and #genome complexity and the origin of new genes throughout evolution, which was based on the repetition of gene fragments as well as genes and genomes and the subsequent differentiation of certain copies from the original ones.

His observations that repetition and redundancy were frequent in the genes and genomes of living beings as different patterns are in #music were precisely what led Doctor Ohno to think of the possibility of “listening” to the #musical #sounds of genes. It was at that point that Midori Aoyama provided her musical #knowledge.
