UNSC Rejects Russian Resolution On Nord Stream
Three of the fifteen member states supported the resolution: Russia, China, and Brazil.
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Monday rejected the Russian-Chinese resolution for the creation of a commission to investigate the Nord Stream explosions.
In relation to the Nord Steam pipeline explosions in September last year, Russia's envoy to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that "within these investigations, an attempt is being made not to clarify what happened with acts of sabotage, but to hide evidence and clean up the scene of the crime."
According to the Russian diplomat, the pipeline sabotage strongly marked the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
"The investigations being conducted at the national level by Sweden, Denmark and Germany do not meet the requirement of an objective investigation, as they simply exclude one of the countries that suffered the most," Nebenzya said.
In this regard, he said that the U.S. is trying to divert attention to Ukraine while the Russian-Chinese resolution "does not contain a single reference to a single country. It only calls for an independent investigation."

It is not often that Israeli criminal actions get any kind of coverage on western media, but I guess bombing an airport that is the only route for foreign aid coming to Syria is just too big to ignore, but of course they bombed the "Iranian targets" , no way Israel would ever bomb a civilian airport, would they? It's not like they are like Russians or something.
There was no comment from Israeli officials. Israel has carried out hundreds of strikes on targets inside government-controlled parts of Syria in recent years, including attacks on the #Damascus and Aleppo airports, but it rarely acknowledges or discusses the operations.
Israel has acknowledged, however, that it targets bases of Iran-allied militant groups, such as Lebanon’s #Hezbollah, which has sent thousands of fighters to support President #Assad’s forces.

Outgoing Public Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev says Jews intimidated him for speaking out against extremist settlers. His successor, Itamar Ben-Gvir, tells him 'you are not the only one being threatened'.
Bar-Lev explained that Jewish Israelis had threatened him because he had warned against extremist settlers who commit hate crimes against Palestinians. He also noted that investigations of these hate crimes had increased in the West Bank.

The new minister then added that he had also faced death threats from the public. “I listened closely to your speech, and I must tell you that, unfortunately, you are not the only one being threatened," Ben-Gvir said.
"Let’s talk about my wife Ayala and my children. You will find that almost every week we receive pictures of bloody knives and edited photos of them, and calls to murder me again and again. It’s not just from Israel’s enemies. It’s also from anarchistic Jews, whom the time has come to deal with.”
