Hallo Leute,
#Rechte, #Rechtsextreme und #Querdenker aus #MV versuchen, KATAPULT einzuschüchtern. Mit erstem Erfolg. Die Lage ist kritisch. Wir wollen das nicht hinnehmen.
Telefon klingelt. Unser Bauunternehmer Nikolaj ruft an: „Benni, hier sind zwei Männer auf der Baustelle, die meinen, wir müssen aufhören zu arbeiten.“ Ich frage, ob diese Leute Polizeiuniform tragen. „Nein, das ist keine Polizei.“
Einen Tag später das gleiche Spiel. Diesmal kommen sie mit Verstärkung. Eine Gruppe Männer nötigt unsere Bauarbeiter, die Arbeit einzustellen. Sie maßen sich an, auf einem fremden Grundstück Befehle zu erteilen.
Warum? Die Männer vermuten, dass wir ein #Geflüchtetenheim bauen. Was bauen wir in Wirklichkeit? Eine #Lagerhalle.Das bedrohliche Schauspiel geht noch tagelang so weiter. Rechte und Rechtsextreme betreten immer wieder unser Grundstück und nötigen unsere Bauarbeiter. Diese sind irgendwann derart eingeschüchtert, dass sie nicht mehr wissen, wie sie reagieren sollen.
Einen Tag später steht #Ex-AfD-Mann, Querdenker und #Corona-Demo-Sprecher Thomas Kerl unangemeldet bei uns im Haus und versucht, die ersten #KATAPULT-Mitarbeitenden, die er trifft, zu überreden, dass wir kein Geflüchtetenheim bauen sollen, obwohl wir derzeit gar keins bauen. Kerl arbeitet mit Rechtsextremen zusammen.
Etwa zur gleichen Zeit wird fast jede zweite Nacht ein Ei auf die Windschutzscheibe meines Autos geworfen. An meiner Privatadresse.
Dass wir bei der Demo-Berichterstattung verfolgt und bedroht werden, ist mittlerweile Normalität. Dass wir unsere Autos dabei weiter weg parken, ist Normalität. Dass unsere Mitarbeitenden ihre Identität verschleiern müssen, ist Normalität, und wenn man das alles so zusammengefasst liest, dann merkt man, das alles darf KEINE NORMALITÄT sein. Das alles ist demokratiefeindlich – es ist der Versuch, Journalismus zu verhindern.
Die #AfD ist in Umfragen derzeit stärkste Partei in MV, mit großem Abstand zu allen anderen Parteien. Rechtsextreme #Netzwerke blühen auf. Zu manchen Kundgebungen wie etwa in #Lubmin kommen Rechtsextreme auch aus #Österreich angereist. MV wird immer mehr zur Zentrale der Rechtsextremen.
Dieser Text ist ein Notruf
Besonders betroffen von den Einschüchterungsversuchen ist unsere #Lokalzeitung KATAPULT MV. Dieses Team ist mit den Leuten vor Ort in direktem Kontakt – nicht nur über das Internet. Es recherchiert über vieles und besonders über die rechten Netzwerke in #Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Eine Artikelliste findet ihr hier.Wie nie zuvor merken wir derzeit, dass die Rechten stärker und selbstbewusster werden, dass sie uns einschüchtern wollen – und es tatsächlich auch klappt. Deshalb schreibe ich diesen Text. Ich will das nicht hinnehmen. Ich wünsche mir, dass ihr uns stärkt. Lasst uns nicht allein damit!
Ich könnte euch nun sagen, dass ein Abo bei KATAPULT MV bereits hilft oder eine Spende. Das ist auch hilfreich, aber es ist nicht das, wonach ich im Kern suche. Was ich wirklich suche, ist etwas anderes. Um der #Einschüchterung von rechts entgegenzuwirken, brauchen wir eine Gemeinschaft von Menschen, die bereit ist, sich gegen den deutlich spürbaren #Rechtsruck zu stellen. Eine #Gemeinschaft, die Mut macht, die Ideen beisteuert, die uns hilft, wenn es mal besonders hart ist.
Ich suche Menschen, die gegen #Korruption, #Rassismus, #Antisemitismus, #Kriminalität und #Extremismus (kurz KRAKE) einstehen. Ich suche Menschen, an die wir uns wenden können, wenn die Nazis bei uns vor der Tür stehen, wenn sie unsere Bauarbeiter bedrohen und wenn unsere Mitarbeitenden Hilfe brauchen. Ob ihr uns mit #Ideen, #Hinweisen oder #Geld unterstützt, ist mir egal. Mir ist nur wichtig, dass ihr viele seid, dass wir im Fall der Fälle eine #Community haben, die sich gegen demokratiefeindlichen Kräfte wehrt und darüber aufklärt.
Deshalb bitte ich euch darum: Meldet euch in unserem #Recherche-Netzwerk #Anti-KRAKE an.
Lasst uns bitte nicht allein. Wir sind keine Redaktion, die mal für ein Wochenende von der Großstadt in den Osten fährt und dann wieder abzieht. Wir leben hier. MV ist unsere Heimat.
Wie prekär die Lage in MV ist
In MV gibt es wichtige Projekte, wie #Endstation_Rechts, #Exit, die #Amadeu-Antonio-Stiftung oder die Opferberatung #Lobbi. Wir kooperieren bereits mit ihnen. Ohne sie wäre dieses Bundesland komplett verloren.KATAPULT MV recherchiert derzeit zu einem Fall, in dem es einem bekannten und gewalttätigen Neonazi gelungen ist, seine ebenfalls rechte Tochter bei der Polizei unterzubringen. Diese Frau wird aller Voraussicht nach bald einen Dienstgrad erlangen, der sie dazu befähigt, eine Staatsschutzabteilung in MV zu leiten. Heißt: Sie könnte dann auch die kriminellen Machenschaften ihres Vaters vor der Strafverfolgung schützen.
Uns wurden zudem Daten zugespielt, die das umfangreiche Netzwerk zwischen AfD, #NPD und #Nazikadern in MV offenlegt. Wir arbeiten seit Wochen an der Auswertung. Solche Hinweise und Leaks braucht eine #Demokratie, solche Daten müssen aufgearbeitet und veröffentlicht werden. Deshalb die Anti-KRAKE. Deshalb KATAPULT MV.
Wie könnt ihr helfen?
- bei Anti-KRAKE anmelden und der Gemeinschaft beitreten
- bei KATAPULT MV als Grafiker/Journalistin bewerben (wir brauchen mehr Recherchekraft!)
- uns Hinweise auf rechte und rechtsextreme Strukturen geben
- uns dabei helfen, stabil und selbstbewusst zu bleiben
Ich will euch hier nichts versprechen, was ich nicht halten kann. Wir machen unseren Job sowieso. Mit euch zusammen können wir stabiler werden, unseren Mut behalten und unsere Recherchen ausbauen. Ich wünsche mir, dass ihr bei der Verteidigung der löchrigen Demokratie Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns (wir leisten uns seit Jahren #Nazidörfer) mitmacht.
Das hier ist ein ernster Notruf. Uns geht’s nicht gut. Die Rechten, die Gewaltbereiten, die Demokratiefeinde sind viele, sie werden mehr – und ich will am Ende nicht von ihnen regiert werden. MV ist noch nicht komplett im Arsch, aber weit weg ist es davon auch nicht mehr.

An indigenous community has won a court battle to regain ownership over its #ancestral #homeland in the Ecuadorian Amazon, more than 80 years after they were displaced because of war.
An Ecuadorian appeals court backed the Siekopai nation's claim over Pë'këya, a biodiverse territory in northeast Ecuador along the border with Peru, according to a court ruling provided to CNN by Amazon Frontline, a nonprofit organization working with indigenous people to defend their land rights.
The #Siekopai were #displaced during the #Peru- #Ecuador #war in the 1940s.
Last September, the #community, which has only about 800 members, filed a lawsuit against the Ecuadorian state, claiming it was violating their right to ancestral property, Amazon Frontline said.
In its ruling on Friday, the Provincial Court of Sucumbios gave Ecuador's Ministry of Environment 45 days to deliver a property title to the Siekopai people for more than 104,000 acres of land, court documents show.
Elias Piyahuaje, President of the Siekopai Nation of Ecuador, said:
"This is a historic moment for the Siekopai Nation. The land of Pë'këya has always been and will always be ours. For over 80 years, we have been fighting to get our land back."
Amazon Frontline said:
"The ruling will mark the first time that the Ecuadorian government delivers a land title to an indigenous community whose ancestral territory is found in a protected area. It sets an invaluable precedent for all indigenous peoples fighting to recover their lands across Latin America and the world."
Piyahuaje said:
"We are fighting for the preservation of our culture on this planet. Without this territory, we cannot exist as Siekopai people."

_This conversation originally took place on Radio WORM, a community internet radio station run by, and inside of Rotterdam’s alternative cultural venue WORM. Our one and a half hour talk, interrupted only by a few short pieces of music and sound recordings, took place on the evening of Friday, March 24, 2023. We, Simon Kentgens and Florian Cramer, had been witnesses and peripheral participants of documenta fifteen in Kassel in the summer of 2022, and tried to draw our preliminary, personal conclusions after an intense and controversial event.
For us, documenta fifteen was the culmination of a longer debate about radical collectivity and the commons in the arts. The commons is a model of production, and of society, in which resources are freely shared and collectively owned by a community. Examples include Free/Open Source software, public libraries and other shared resources.
As collaborators at Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam’s art school, we had been involved in various projects around collective, self-organized, community- and commons-oriented, and often non-Western arts practices, in order to rethink our school’s curriculum, which, like most art schools, focuses on students’ individual artistic and work portfolio development. For years we had worked with various local and international multidisciplinary artist collectives in workshops we organized at our school. These included Gudskul, an alternative art school founded by three Jakarta-based collectives, including ruangrupa; 展銷場 Display Distribute from Hong Kong; Jatiwangi art Factory from Indonesia; Banana School (BananSkolen), an alternative, non-hierarchical school run by the Goodiepal & Pals (GP&PLS) collective in Copenhagen; the Amsterdam-based We Are Here collective of undocumented refugees, and the Rotterdam-based Take-A-Way collective of artists, refugees and addicts.
We reencountered many of these collectives as documenta fifteen participants in the summer of 2022. Our co-worker reinaart vanhoe had worked closely with ruangrupa for more than twenty years, has published a book on them and other Indonesian artist collectives as part of our school’s research program, and ran a community space at documenta fifteen.
Founded in the 1950s as a five-yearly exhibition, Documenta is widely considered to be the world’s most important contemporary art event, and usually features art by big-name artists, or artists who become big-name by exhibiting at Documenta. Documenta fifteen, however, broke with the conventions of contemporary art by neither being a curated exhibition, nor even an art show in any strict sense, but rather a three-month festival to which collectives invited other collectives. These collectives were physically present for many of the one hundred days of the event, and the emphasis was on activities such as workshops, social gatherings, cooking, and other communal happenings in addition to exhibitions.
This was part of what ruangrupa, the artistic directors of documenta fifteen, called “lumbung”. In their home country of Indonesia, a lumbung is a rice barn that is collectively used by farmers. In a broader sense, the word corresponds to the English word “commons” which originally stood for collectively owned and used agricultural land. In German and Dutch, the words “Allmende” and “meent” have similar origins and meanings. For ruangrupa, lumbung is also a practice that enables an alternative economy of collectivity, shared resource building, and equitable distribution.
The distribution of curatorial control, its multidisciplinarity, collectivity and shared ownership made documenta fifteen a radical, large-scale, real-life commoning experiment: by actually running and living a commons, rather than just imagining it (as art is usually expected to do). It also meant that things went wrong. We aren’t claiming any critical authority here, to have the last word on this experiment, but wish to share our experiences and observations to contribute to a larger body of histories of documenta fifteen, written by its community members._
