:: 46-040 [NX] Training ::

My OCs, Officer Annie & Matsuri randomly stick-sparring on a fine Silveryan morning. Although the term 'officer' is no longer valid, some people like Matsuri and Jayden still call her with that title.

Matsuri is a dagger user, but he knows that Annie, in her previous life, was a sword user. So, he hopes to sharpen her skills so that one day, he can really have a thrilling duel with her, like old times. Annie is promising during their training, or it might be that Matsuri's not so good with long weapons, haha.

In Annie's previous life, Matsuri was her right-hand and they were really close to the point of being mistaken as lovers. Matsuri loves her and calls her his queen, yes; but their relationship is platonic.

The specks around them are Silveryan snow, or silver dust which makes magic easier to do. During the Great Catastrophe and after, the silver dust ceased to snow. It was only until recently that it began snowing again, and this is a good sign.

As mentioned previously, Jayden has been working tirelessly to ensure that the Remigrants are adapting well to their homeworld once more. He's become their unofficial leader.

So, this is a non-chibi portrait of my OC, Jayden Lazarus. Supposed to be just a sketch, but I figured I need more non-chibi ref for this guy (so I also removed the Overlay layer lol). Yes, it's a guy. I think his theme song can be Aerosmith's "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)". While pretty boys are a norm for Nexus people, it's only trouble if you enter Sigma...

I'm thinking that one day, the people might also dub him the Northern Belle, lol.

My OC, Jayden Lazarus. Also known as 'Ducky' and 'Ducko', and rarely ever his actual name.

After a successful Remigration from Sigma back to Nexus, our pretty little ESFJ ducky, Jayden has been working tirelessly to ensure that the Remigrants are adapting well to their homeworld once more. So much so that he has been indirectly elected as their leader. Everything would go through him (and he can't deny that he somewhat enjoys this).

One of the first things he did was to make sure everyone knew their history. He was a Royal Historian before all this, after all. He would teach them history by telling it like a story. Kids love him, and sometimes even the adults sit and listen.

Upon recently obtaining the technology of writing, Jayden is slowly having a small library. Most of the existing publications were written by him before the realm was hit by catastrophe, and he managed to save some. He is working towards making more written pieces, slowly but surely.

My RO game character, Archbishop Thomas Benedicta, back when his faith was wavering.

I kinda wish the religious job/class in RO were more... Norse than Christianity. That would make them so perfect. Anyway, I tried to find some relevant quotes from Norse religious texts (instead of Bible) since the people of Midgard mostly worship Odin (if not Freja); but ehhh the Norse didn't exactly have a written holy scripture of anything. The Poetic Edda is the one legend, and that quote has the vibe, so I took it.

:: 46-036 [RO] Resting Peacefully ::

Ragnarök Online fan art featuring my character, Archbishop Thomas Benedicta and a Shadow Chaser, Mef. Had this idea since a couple of months back when my artist block hit me, and only recently could I draw it out.

Thomas has an obsession for two things: skulls and crosses. The former is liquidable asset, and the latter is for protection. He tells the members of the church that when he dies, please put him together with his pet ghost, Whispersio in a coffin (with Whispy being in his own little coffin inside the bigger one), and bury him with the big cross he hangs behind his room door. Skulls can be sold to cover the funeral costs.

"But first, let me test my coffin out," he tells the church. They let him and went about their ways. Thomas goes into the coffin, bringing his huge cross from his room door, and lies down inside. "Ah, feels just like my bed in the storage room," he mutters to himself. It was comfortable enough that he fell asleep.

A figure stealthily approaches, emerging from the shadows upon having caught up with his target. He squats by the coffin, his weapon unsheathed. 'To die in your sleep ought to be merciful enough,' he thinks to himself as he looks at the sleeping Archbishop. He is supposed to have been done with the disposal of his target, but instead finds himself enjoying the serene look on Thomas' face.

(Other notes: I could not fit in things like skull, Holy Water, and Whispy in the coffin due to chibi proportions. x'D And Thomas is, at present, my comfort character. :') The carpeting is taken directly from my own in-game screenshot.)

Ragnarök Online fan art featuring my Archbishop, Thomas Benedicta and his beloved pet ghost, Whispersio.

Thomas spends his morning reading while enjoying some Holy Water that he bottled himself from the nearby lake. He also gives Whispersio some pet food. Whispersio eats Damp Darkness; it looks like black smoke. After this, Thomas will put his stole on and he will go to do some training against desert wolves.

That's... pretty much his life now.

:: 46-031 [TJH] SU Maddox ::

The grumpy army medic Maddox has come to a decision to accept the offer to join the Special Unit/SU.
(Maddox: "There goes my access to a legal... substance... lab." -_-)

Maddox has always loved his realm/country, so it was rather expected that he'd join the SU and enforce the Special Laws of the realm that basically keeps local gang activities in check and limiting outside influence (for now, there is only Nexus).

The latter is Maddox's focus. He wants to make sure that Sigma remains as Sigma. He wasn't bothered about local gangs, but he is very sensitive when Nexus lifestyle tries to seep into Sigma. He believes that Sigma and Nexus are two different cultures and lifestyle, so it was unnatural for one to behave like the other. This is also why he gave his 110% during the Remigration Project.

Now that all the Nexus Immigrants have gone home, only a handful of Sigma-born ones are left. Although most of them have been assimilated, Maddox wants to make sure they remain monitored and kept in line.

He will miss being a medic. He won't be wearing this outfit all the time though, since SUs usually do undercover work. So, he might be wearing a medic get-up once again some day...

:: 46-030 [TJH] The Nexus Trio ::

My OCs (from left): Matsuri, Jayden Lazarus, Officer Annie.
It's been months since my story, The Journey Home/TJH ended.

It makes me wonder what has become of the Nexus Immigrants who could finally return home. I have a few possible scenarios of what has happened after, but it's all just ideas for fun. I don't think I am continuing the story (you can read the summary at its website btw, link in my profile).

For the Nexus folks, I imagine Jayden to be unofficially elected as village leader, lol. Officer Annie would be in charge of security along with Matsuri. Jayden's hair should have grown longer since they first came, so I made Officer Annie braid it while he wonders how to improve their little settlement. Although this is like a 'girly scene' getting hair braided, braids were actually a symbol of status in Nexus...and Jayden's going to make sure it remains as such.

And yes, generic landscape as background, lol. If you see ocean, it's Vista. If like this where you see some sort of ruin, it's Silverya. Yet to draw a scene in other regions like the thick jungle hills and the desert.

Hello, everyone! Yes, this is the Artfol Challenge that managed to convince my hand to finally draw something after 2 months of artist block. [ Artfol link]

It features Vic, with Tsumura at the back there with a non-ergonomic workstation. As for the person standing by Vic's legs, I hope you guys can guess who it is, haha~

Remove yourself, Vic; you're in the way.
Huh, Vic's not budging. He wants to lie down on the couch, no matter what.
Someone stops right next to his jutting-out legs, saying, "Your salary for the month is reducing with every passing second you block my path, at a rate of n-minus-1 per second."
Vic doesn't react. He's going to show he's not scared of trivial pay cut threats. He wants to lie down on the couch, no matter what.
Seconds later, Vic opens his eyes and realises no one is there anymore, except Tsumura at the back.
His phone beeps a moment after. He flips it open and sees a text message that reads, "I will discipline you after this."
He closes his phone and continues lying down. 'You don't scare me, Suit,' he thinks.

:: 46-027 [RO] Just Chillin' ::

Hello, everyone!! >///<

After two months of having artist block, I am finally drawing something!
It got started thanks to an Artfol challenge which I will upload once I am done with it. This one finished first because I really wanted to draw this fella.

This is a semi-chibi of my Ragnarök Online (iRO) game character, Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop, chilling out with his his little ghost pet, Whispersio at a beach town called Comodo. He's drinking a knock-off of the famous Tropical Sograt cocktail.

I would have wanted to draw him in his church uniform, but I needed something simpler for warming up, but I decided to keep the uniform's trousers and shoes. My warm-up sketch turned out pretty good. So, I made a full drawing. ^^

The town is located inside a cave, light coming from lanterns of sorts and fireworks! Hence, the purplish glow and stuff. Its main attraction is was the casino, but thanks to U.S. laws, the gambling mini-games have been removed, making Comodo a rather pointless city in game.
