📲 Welches Custom ROM (mit MicroG) für das Pixel 5?

Ich soll für jemanden ein Pixel 5 flashen und einrichten. Die Person hat bislang ein anderes Gerät mit #eOS genutzt und eigentlich ist der Auftrag, auch auf dem Pixel /e/OS zu installieren.

Ich habe nun aber gesehen, dass das Pixel dafür einen Downgrade von Android 14 auf Android 13 braucht, daher bin ich nun am Überlegen, ob ich nicht doch ein anderes #CustomROM empfehlen soll.

Da nur LineageOS und CalyxOS Android 14 für das Pixel 5 anbieten, tendiere ich momentan zu CalyxOS (mit dem ich aber noch keine Erfahrung habe).
Für mich persönlich würde ich ja DivestOS nehmen, aber das wäre doch vielleicht noch etwas weiter von eOS weg (und unterstützt #microG nicht bzw. nur über Umwege). Es sollen auch einige Apps über Aurora installiert werden, die wohl bislang mit MicroG auf eOS gut laufen.

  • Hat jemand von Euch Erfahrung sowohl mit eOS als auch mit CalyxOS und kann von den Unterschieden aus User-Perspektive berichten?
  • Kann man irgendeine Prognose treffen, welches ROM das Pixel 5 mehr oder weniger lang unterstützen wird?

The author is French artist #ClaudeMellan.

For the artist's contemporaries, his method of engraving remained a mystery, and no one has been able to repeat it.

"well" the professor took the attention of the audience with just one word

"You're only allowed to skip this temporal mechanics class, when you arrive in your very own time machine from 10 years later!"

.....

"So" he said, "if you're sure about yourself, go on. i will start a count down of about one minute".

"Everyone who thinks he can skip this, go ahead and join me in about 59 seconds."

...

"Here we go my students, 10 seconds!" (After some ppl left the room really early, now there are already some other people streaming into the room)

"One!"

"Heck, i'm astounded... we have 15 students for ''this years class'', and already 5 come back at me as full seasoned time travelers it seems."

A slight chuckle makes the round in the room, before Professor Timely says:

"I'm especially astounded on you, Student? Müller. You didn't just go for getting time travel done on your own, but actually brought back 2 children with you? You didn't waste your decade at all!"

"Congratulations, this will be a immediate A+ for this lesson nonetheless.. Let's see on the others."

He starts to examine some of their presented tech.

Obviously, time travel tech nowadays just is as big as the palm of your hand... Of course, the batteries to power it where a totally different matter - and not critical to this inspection at least..............

Pour commencer cette semaine, petit partage d'un dessin abstrait . Le but dans ma pratique de l'abstrait c'est de me balader sur une feuille blanche, sans chercher à représenter quelque chose de déjà existant. Lorsque j'en ai besoin, ces ballades sur feuille blanche pour faire de l'abstrait, sont pour moi des moments de respiration.
