Beads of Blue
Over the mountains and across the sea, thinking of you,
when you've thought of me, and my love for archeology.
A little, ancient necklace with beautiful, beads of blue,
joined together with gold loops ~ (like my thoughts of you.)
Separated by more than time, launguage and geography ~
I should be wearing the black beads and a silver cross of a rosary.
But heaven knows, that's not quite me, and I think of asking a jeweler,
"Please make a necklace like this, with beautiful, beads of blue."
Such a necklace would better represent my thoughts and virtue.
