How did anyone not expect this to happen? Young people being robbed 1.5 years of their youth where they should have been out partying and you expect them not to rush back to the clubs as soon as they can? Not to forget the constant barrage of "young people don't really get Covid or if they get it only mild cases", including from many, drumroll, Tory MPs, in particular from the CRG advocating for opening up the country.
