Not going to get the olympic social media prize this year. I have too much work and too little communicative fuel.

But... I have finished the frontpage of the Otagburuagu short story that I am doing with Ifanyi Eluu, (a young writer from Nigeria who I found (or he found me) on the block-chain SM, Hive). Next step is to try to sell some more of them here in Denmark before sending it to the printer... and maybe print a few more so people abroad who will support the upcoming Phill from GHHQ- Kickstarter can buy it there.

As for the cover... I am pretty happy about it. :)

Thanks!

I had completely given up hope on succeeding in the Kickstarter that I'd made with young, Nigerian author Ifeanyi Eluu. But a friend of mine closed the gap with a large order now just 15 hours before closing time. Really happy about that and thankful to all of the supporters. you know who you are!

I any of you like old school pulp crime drama - there's still time to buy a €3 illustrated e-book!

The Professor Otagburuagu Kickstarter is live

Together with the young author Ifeanyi Eduu from Nigeria I have developed the super-villain, Professor Otagburuagu, and now there's a long 30.000 word short story for sale on Kickstarter with Ifeanyi's text and my illustrations. Sadly it was only feasible to sell the actual book in Denmark and Nigeria, but there's also a €3 e-book that I hope some of you will find tempting. For more information you can see the video on the Kickstarter website.

It will also be a big help if you reshare this post. Thanks in advance :)

Pulp book cover reimaginings of the original Star Wars trilogy

It is an inaccuracy to say that Star Wars is science fiction. Its true genre is Planetary Romance. Star Wars is an adventure story in the style of Edgar Rice Burroughs A Princess of Mars, Michael Moorcock's Michael Kane of Old Mars, C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy or—quite self-consciously—Flash Gordon. A farmboy stumbles across secret information that leads him to rescue a princess, aided by his two servants, his wizard mentor, a pirate and a friendly giant.

I instantly fell in love with these imaginary book covers by Timothy Anderson, which to me perfectly capture the feel and intention of the original Star Wars film.
