The Financial Times reported today that Israel is planning to establish experimental mini-concentration camps, or "bubbles," as part of an effort to replace Hamas in Gaza following the war on the strip.

According to the plan, the Israeli military would facilitate the entry of aid to Gaza from the nearby Western Erez crossing to vetted local Palestinians, who would then distribute the aid. These vetted individuals would gradually assume civilian governance over these mini-concentration camps while Israeli forces maintained military control.

However, a source involved in postwar Gaza planning mentioned that Israel has struggled to find Palestinians willing to collaborate with the occupying forces since November.

Israeli forces have ordered the evacuation of the European #Hospital in #KhanYunis, the last remaining hospital in Gaza, which currently cares for over 400 patients.

In recent days, Israeli forces have intensively bombarded the area. Just hours ago, a nurse named Mu'taz Ayesh Al-Amour was killed at the #EuropeanHospital by a reconnaissance missile strike in the town of Al-Fukhari, east of Khan Yunis.

Assaf military site, the westernmost base on the #Philadelphia corridor by the Sea in #Rafah. This is the western base of the #Israeli army in #Rafah, where the #Israeli army completely destroyed the Swedish neighborhood, which they claimed to be full of tunnels, in order to build the base.

Palestinian resistance in Gaza used one of the unexploded 500 pound bombs dropped by an American provided F-16 to blow up a building they have lured in a group of Israeli soldiers.

So far Israel has admitted to 4 dead and 5 injured, but the Palestinians claim the numbers are much higher.

Multiple helicopters seen landing in the area to carry the injured and the deads back to #TelAviv.

This is the 4th such @ambush by Palestinians in the past 2 weeks, followed by massive indiscriminated bombing of civilian targets by #IDF.
