I bought a share in a #wind #turbine!

Expecting roughly 23% cheaper electricity when it is built and generating, expected later this year. With current prices, it returns on the initial investment in as little as 6-7 years, and has a 25 year lifespan.

*Saphonian Wind Turbine....Beyond the Betz Limit....For the same swept area (by a wind turbine), the wind energy captured by the sail-shaped body of the Saphonian is twice as higher as that of conventional wind turbine. By replacing the blades' rotor by a compact sail-shaped body (curved) that enjoys high aerodynamic coefficients (Cl and Cd), the Saphonian has set itself free from the insurmountable Betz limit.By replacing the turbine’ blades by a sail-shaped body that enjoys high aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cd), our Zero-Blade device is capable of capturing twice as much wind kinetic energy as conventional bladed wind turbine for the same swept area. The curved shape of the Saphonian body (Cd of 2.3) is capable of swallowing a great part of the blowing wind. Thanks to the specific motion of the sail-shaped body and the absence of blades, the Saphonian has set itself free from the Betz law (the Saphonian isn't a wind turbine). It also reduced major aerodynamic losses given its bladeless design. *
