THE MAN AND A BEAUTIFUL APPLE TREE
- Once upon a time a man had a beautiful apple tree growing in his backyard.
He was very thrifty. He ate all the apples that had fallen to the ground before he would pick a fresh apple from the tree.
By the time he had gone all around the tree eating the apples from the ground, more apples had fallen from the tree.
Around and around the tree he went, year after year. Thus, the man with the beautiful apple tree, ate rotten apples all of his life.
