For more than 35 years I've never been reminded to take a "booster" for the #measles and #polio shots that I got (among other shots). Drop the #patents (barriers, monopolies) and get back to work; make better #covid19 vaccines with proper #clinicalTrials (media blitz doesn't compensates for a lack of them).
For vaccine mandates to be reasonable the shots need to have high efficacy (we don't have that) and probably not shots but just one shot. Like #measles #polio etc. Back to the lab. Make better products, also no #patents this time around (equity matters, #monopolies are misplaced at times of crisis).
#polio and #measles #vaccines are exceptionally popular because they actively prevent, they're a one-time thing (not "subscription", e.g. "boosters" every x months), they're affordable and they help stop the spread (actual eradication, not "lower hospitalisation" rates). They rarely lay you in bed for 1-5 days after each shot.
Antivax is not free speech, "free thinking", "truth seeking", etc. – it is deadly violence.
