G'day peeps, been a little while since the last proper compilation and so begins 2024 of Amiga goodness. This compilation consists of #tunes released at #Gerp24 and #Revision24 #Demo #Parties from the last 2 months or so.
Some killer #tracks among this lot so hope you all enjoy :)

The Amiga is a series of #computers released by C=ommodore from 1985 to 1993, all Amigas used the same sound chip, an 8bit, 4channel, upto 28khz PCM called "Paula".

HARDWARE USED:
#Amiga1200, #Behringer DJX750 Mixer, Behringer HD400 Hum Eliminator, Sony 14" PVM, Various RCA and TRS cables, Hydra Mini Scart Switch, Various Scart and BNC cables.
A Phone to record the footage (wish it had 50fps).
**Stereo joining is done with hardware (RCA & TRS cables, Mixer)
Approximate 15% Stereo Separation.

SOFTWARE USED:
#Protracker 2.3F (Amiga)
#Audacity 3.1.3 - audio recording, minor cable noise reduction, volume leveling, some fade outs.
#Camtasia 2021 - video editing, song info.
#Handbrake 1.5.1 - video compression.

En 1988, au #Royaume-Uni, un #nouveau courant de #musique #électronique émerge de la #scène #dance, l' #acid #house. Initialement apparu à #Chicago (États-Unis) au début des années 1980, l' #Acid-House se propage rapidement dans le monde de la nuit britannique et provoque l'explosion des #rave #parties dans le #pays.
Au cours des étés 1988 et 1989, l'acid house déclenche le Second Summer of Love, un véritable phénomène #culturel en Grande-Bretagne d'une ampleur qui n'avait pas été vue depuis la vague #punk.
Certains morceaux issus de ce mouvement sont rétrospectivement rapprochés de la trance, notamment certains titres composés par le groupe anglais #KLF et que le groupe labellisa justement « #Pure-Trance ».

Deux titres sortis en 1990 sont considérés comme les premiers véritables morceaux de trance et se disputent donc la paternité du genre : Age of Love du groupe éponyme italo-belge, qui a servi de base pour la scène trance allemande des années 1990, et We Came In Peace de Dance 2 Trance.

Age of Love est considéré comme l'un des premiers #groupes de musique trance.
Il est composé de Bruno Sanchioni (BBE) et de Giuseppe Cherchia, plus connu sous le nom de scène Pino d'Angiò (amis et collaborateur d'Emmanuel Top sous le nom de scène Brainwave au tout début des années 1990 lors de l'apparition de la house, de la techno et de la trance en Europe) au Diki Studio (Diki Records) à Mouscron en Belgique.

Dance 2 Trance est un duo allemand de trance, composé de Rolf Ellmer aka Jam El Mar et Dag Lerner. Le groupe est notamment connu pour être l'une des premières formations de musique trance.
