@dailyjoy@diasp.org and I did a little trip to downtown #Ottawa today, via bus and train and shot a short one minute #video tour of the memorial.
I wanted to do this on a sunny day, but I discovered that the memorial is in the wrong location. It is supposed to funnel sunlight though its tubes, but in the middle of the day is in the shadow cast by a large apartment building directly south. This was very bad planning!
